Most Helpful Positive Review:

Best file I've ever used.5 star rating

I'm pretty amazed at some of the bad reviews. I don't think people are reading the instructions. You have to use this on dry feet and don't put too much pressure on the file. I'm a diabetic and would use a regular file nearly every day without much positive results and go to the podiatrist at least 6 times per year where he would shave off my callouses. Gross, huh? I have used everything on the market and finally tried this. I was pretty sure it wouldn't work since it was one of those "As Seen on TV" things. I've been using it for 8 months now and I use it about twice a week. It does what it says and it does and quite well if used properly. It removes a lot more dead skin and callouses than any expensive foot file on the market. Go easy and you won't have rough spots or file down too deeply (I did that the first time...ouch). I use a 3M sandpaper sponge afterwords to smooth out the skin. Moisturize after you've used it. You will be surprised at the difference. It is messy because regardless of how you hold this, some of the shavings are going to fall down and not go in the cup. I guess that's why they invented vacuum cleaners. Buy one or two. They really do work better than anything I've ever used and for the price, you can't beat them. I've not had to replace the blades yet either.

worse than normal sandpaper1 star rating

I've been rubbing sandpaper on my heel to get rid of the flaky dried skin. When I use the ped egg, it is not as effecient, slower, and the worse part is it creates MORE dry skin. So basically it creates more flaking of the skin than trying to smooth the skin out.

Works great. Some of the reviews were so-so, but I tried it anyway. It was hard to do the bottom of your toes. Also, it was messy...about 3/4 of the skin went into the egg thing, and the rest went on the floor. Didn't hurt my feet. Beautiful results. Went from very bad heals....even starting to crack a bit...to much much better. It isn't perfect yet, but I didn't want to overdo it on the first try. Felt great to walk on after. Very happy, worth the 10 bucks.

Works OK but found it too harst for my feet. Prefer to use creams at night and cover with old loose white socks. Try DiabetiDerm Foot Rejuvenating Cream for[$] and a tub lasts twelve months +. Works great on elbows and hands. Clears up the hard skin naturally and makes feet soft and callus free in a couple of weeks. Then you only have to use it a couple times a week. Worked in Auto Plant for 35 years. Wish I'd listened to wife and used the creams sooner. Feet used to ache all the time but last year on job, used this cream on recommendation of my wife, and my feet didn't ache at the end of the workday. Wish I hadn't been so stubborn.

Use it about twice a week followed by some lotion. Tried many products for dried skin and callous, NONE worked as well. I couldn\'t believe how fast it took a callous away!!

I have just recently started using this product and was pretty doubtful that it would actually work. Well It did exactly what the adds say. I have had very dry feet for years and sometimes painful cracking. But, since using this along with hydrocortisone cream my feet are looking good, and feeling less painful. It is easy to use. But be very careful the blades are extremely sharp. It is small and can be packed into a purse or suitcase for travel. I have been using this daily and have seen a huge difference. And if the blades get dull, you can get replacement blades at this store instead of having to buy them thru the mail . Good price as well. I am a very satisfied customer who will keep on using this product.

This product works great at getting rid of calluses. However, if you use it too much, it will shave off too much at one time and your feet will be sore and might even bleed. Make sure you follow the directions on the package. I have never found anything that works like the ped egg. It truly files down your calluses. I would highly recommend it - just don't overuse it.

I've used this product for over a year. It removes the dead skin and if the final file is used for buffing/polishing your feet are like a baby's. I'm so happy to have found this product.

You can get a similar product for lots less cost at the cosmetics department. It doesn't capture the skin dust like pedegg, but for half the price, I prefer it. Also, the one in cosmetics is flat and easier to handle and has a emery on the other side.
