The waterpik is a great product and works well to clean the tight spaces between teeth or braces. The only complaint i have is that as soon as you turn the machine on, the water is coming out. There is a button on the handheld part that stops water flow when you hold it, but i wish that pushing that button would start the flow instead.

This is my second unit. I Bought my first many years ago. I am very much pleased with the units reliability and even moreso with the results I've had since starting the regimen. My gum health has dramatically improved.

It was suggested by my Hygenist at my last cleaning, a Waterpic will do a better job cleaning under my three bridges, also, it will eliminate the mouth odor as well. So, now I do it every night before I go to bed and it feels refreshing when I wake up in the morning.I highly recommend it to anyone that has problems with mouth odor and has a bridge.

Easy to use & like all the different attachment tips it came with. Does seem to remove plaque well also. You do have to purchase additional tips for second person to use or either one use the Classic jet tip while other uses the one for crowns etc. Like the eject button & pause feature button. The storage case for the tips is a neat feature as well. All in all very pleased with the purchase & results.

I've never had one of these, but since watching my grandmother having complications with denture surgery, (4 months and she still can't wear them.) I want to do anything that I can to keep all my teeth healthy. It does tickle, and I tend to shoot water either up my face, or up the mirror. If that is what it takes to know my teeth will be there in 40 years, I'll deal with it.

Big improvement over previous models. Pros: Storage in lid prevents clutter; self-curling hose makes replacing tip a snap and looks neater. Actually, this model is very streamlined and not as unsightly as previous models. If Waterpik would find a way to allow the user to stuff unused electrical cord length in back of the model, it would be nice. Tip. I find that wiping out the basin after each use keeps it looking brand new, especially if you have hard water.

After a year ot two. Can't remember exactly how long I've had it the nozzle breaks or something and it leaks out of the nozzle holder. So I guess I have to go buy another one. [$] is a lot but it does work. Reaches places your toothbrush can't get to.

I have had a mouthful of crowns, the first 6 starting at age 16. Waterpik is the only thing I feel safe using to really clean around the gumline without the stress of loosening a crown. I would recommend Waterpik to anyone with gum problems or dental issues. It is a great brand, and they last a long time even with daily use.

Cleans my teeth, and gums above and below the gum line which is helping with gum problems. And this is so much better than flossing and so much faster. And you can also use with a mouthwash to help out. Great product, saved my teeth.

I absolutely LOVE this machine. My mouth feels so clean after use, and it truly is amazing the stuff that still comes out after brushing and flossing (although flossing seems unecessary if using this machine). It definitely says in the instructions to empty it after every use, and to unplug the unit, so don't pay attention to reviewers who say the reservoir leaks, especially if they are leaving water sitting in it after use (which is kind of gross--the idea of using water that's been sitting for hours to clean your mouth????). I can't imagine not using up the water anyway, it only takes about 2 minutes---the recommended time to brush your teeth, so I can do 2 minutes for each to get teeth THIS clean. And you can always just put less water in. The reservoir is very easily lifted up so that you can run water into it, and dump out any left. So, for the test, I used Listerine Smart Rinse after brushing and flossing; this particular product "shows" leftover plaque by clinging to it and helping to remove any left in your mouth---it turns color so that you see clear rinse with tiny colored liquid---supposedly the plaque. I originally thought the rinse didn't work, because it ALWAYS had colored particles when I spit out after brushing and flossing, no matter how careful and thorough I was. Well, after using the waterpik the first time, I tried the Listerine rinse again----not a single bit of colored liquid pieces, all of it was clear---proving to me that not only did the waterpik get at all the gunk in my mouth, but the rinse really did work. I won't really need it anymore (I originally bought if for my kids---they didn't ever use it, so I was just using it till it was gone) since I know the Waterpik gets it all so clean!!!! As for how long it lasts---I don't know. But it has a 2 year warranty, and I would definitely buy another if I had to in 2 years.

This is my third one. Unfortunately the entire line of waterpiks begin to leak where the nozzle locks into the handle. Instead of coming out the nozzle, more and more water seeps then streams out the handle. There is no repair, so you have to keep buying new ones. Why do I do this? Because they work! Just expect to replace it more often than you should have to. They should last longer.
