After a year ot two. Can\'t remember exactly how long I\'ve had it the nozzle breaks or something and it leaks out of the nozzle holder. So I guess I have to go buy another one. [$] is a lot but it does work. Reaches places your toothbrush can\'t get to.

A previous reviewer gave the Ultra Water Pik one star because it wasn't powerful enough. I cannot imagine how this could be true. I suppose if you were trying to cut metal with this Water Pik, it might not be "powerful enough." Basically, even if you are on setting 5, this is more than enough to do the job in cleaning your teeth. The Ultra Water Pik works very well to flush out debris from between the teeth and gums and only after a week of use, my gums appear to be healthier. My dental hygienist recommended the Water Pik to me and it has proven to be very effective.

My previous Water Pik developed a leak in the hose so I bought this model to replace it. Compared to the other model, this one barely has enough power to clean my teeth. I keep it at the highest setting. Very disappointed.

During a regular visit to my dentist, I was informed that it would probably be better for me to increase my dental checkups because of excess plac. Using the water-pik I purchased from Target, my Dentist has informed me that my plac problem has been tremendously cleaned and under total control. It will be an intergral part of my dental process every day now. Armed with my toothbrush and water pik, coupled with regular dental checkups, I feel my teeth are cleaner then they have ever been.

It's a great little machine if your kids will use it. I bought it about 5 months ago and everyone used for the 1st month. I am surprised if they use it even once a month now. It was a recommendation from the Orthodontist.

This product does the job, no doubt about it. I fully endorse the waterpik WP100, except for two problems: 1: they do not last long, and you cannot repair any part. The nozzle head begins to leak, dribbling down your hand until you give up and buy a new one. We have bought five of these in about 7 years. Seems like they should last longer. 2: waterpik does not distribute to stores the nozzles that wear out, the ones most commonly used for really good gum cleaning. They supply one with some models, and you have to buy them online at waterpik or other outlets. The nozzles you get with the machine are the very hard plastic tipped nozzles with the half life of cobalt. Your grandkids will still be using them, but you get a handful with the product. The really good ones have to be bought separately.

absolutely love it. what I really love is that my 9 year old son uses it and really likes it, he was cavity free last dentist visit. My mouth feels wonderfully clean have had it for a year and the dentist was amazed at how little I had to have my teeth cleaned. I use it with a little bit of listerine in the water at night and I wake up with absolutely no film on my mouth. I have a bridge and it is amazing how it cleans in between it and my teeth in general. Highly recommend it to everyone especially if you have a permanent bridge or braces. It is my xmas gift to my love ones this year. Everyone is getting one.

The Water Pik works great if you have braces. I use this now instead of flossing each bracket.

A few of the reviewers said that it was noisy. It is, but the important thing is that it does what you want it to do.

Received product in just a couple days - very prompt service. My hygenist recommended this product. Said it would be a better way of flossing. On the first try I flossed as usual, brushed, then used WaterPik. WOW!! What a difference. Even though I had thoroughly (I thought) cleaned my teeth, the WaterPik got the rest! Amazing product.

My dentist suggested to me, to purchase a water flosser, so I did. Personally I don't feel it is any better then using string floss. All in all, it is a nice product.

I had not tried another one, but I like this one. I needed something to replace flossing and I can use warm water or cold, depending on if my teeth are sensitive or not. I like that feature!

Does a great job, quickly, and without any possible floss cuts to your gums. Should have bought one of these years ago!

I actually brush my teeth with Sonicare before I use the Waterpik flosser. I couldn't believe how much food particles still remained in my mouth. Every time I use it, I get the feeling that my mouth is professionally cleaned.

I was never a big fan of flossing and would floss maybe once every other week....until the future called in the form of a water pick. Flossing the old school way is like taking a horse and buggy to work, but I prefer to take my car. Instead of a 3-5min bloody war with your gums, 60-90secs of refreshing water to make your mouth feel like a million bucks is what this water pick offers. Best $50 you can spend on your dental hygiene.

Had the rechargable model before but the battery only lasted a year. This model much easier to use and flow never fades.

This unit was purchased primarily for our son who has braces and did not like the brush from the orthodontist for getting behind the wires. This unit has an orthodontic tip, hence the purchase. The extra tips are handy since we have two other children. We hoped the gadget factor would promote better tooth care. The unit was easy enough for the kids to get started right away without help. (they kids are 8 to 12) and built well enough that it has survived them as well. The downside is that the novelty did wear off and it has become just another thing to do along with brushing.

The WP-100 tank holds only 600 ml, whereas other Waterpiks have a 1000 ml capacity. Refilling at mid-use is tiresome and ANNOYING.

Big improvement over previous models. Pros: Storage in lid prevents clutter; self-curling hose makes replacing tip a snap and looks neater. Actually, this model is very streamlined and not as unsightly as previous models. If Waterpik would find a way to allow the user to stuff unused electrical cord length in back of the model, it would be nice. Tip. I find that wiping out the basin after each use keeps it looking brand new, especially if you have hard water.
