Should come with directions on where to load but once it's in it increased space so I could download even more books. Would like to see one with even more GB's. I love my Nook!

I searched nearby B & N stores for this item & none had it available. Went to the local Best Buy & bought for $99 +tax. They helped me install it too. Just take off the back cover of the nook to expose the SD slot. Install the memory card, snap the back cover of the nook on, power the nook off, then on & you're all set. The nook will recognize the additional memory.

Just got my Nook the first of May. I love to read and have so many books not enough room in my house anymore. This is awesome. I have only used it to download and read books cause I didnt know how to do all the other stuff. Finally went to B and N and a sales person walked me thru it. They were so helpful. Now I cant wait to have the 16 scandisk come out. I want more book space plan to get lots of books. I love it.

If you love books (duh...that's why we are here) You want this.....but not for the price. I shop here and at Amazon...Got the nook vice their non upgradeable reader BUT you can get this from Amazon for a quarter of the price. easy to install right out of the box.......With this you can virtually carry a brick & mortar store....and if you can fill it...get 2 for 32 GB of storage (there is a 32GB micro SD out there, but seeing that the nook can only recognize 16GB...not worth it) What you save at Amazon you can buy books here :D

This card fits my phone, and also fits an adapter I have for use with a digicam. I've been able to put other microcards into the adapter, and then into a slot in my computer to transfer pix. This card works in the phone, and in the adapter in the camera, but pix then can't be transferred with the adapter, and it just hangs the computer. Necessitates using a cable, which defeats the purpose of having an adapter and slot. Not worth the aggravation and extra accessories.

16 GB handles an unbelievable amount considering it is either in my cell phone or tablet, at this price I purchased two one for each device. Yes, 32 GB and 64 GB are also manufactured but make sure you verify every device involved as to the maximum size that device can address. In my case, my particular cell phone could handle a 32 GB micro SD card however utilizing too large a video file would put such a drain on the battery life that the phone would need constant recharging. Afterall a phone is also a phone for phoning.

perfect for the kids tablets. They can download a bunch of games and can play for hours. This will also hold movie if they want as well to use when we are out in the car. They found it so small that you can't see it in the tablet and chances of popping it out without actually trying is virtually impossible. The kids were glad to have the extra space and are not worried when they download some of the more storage intensive games. The information downloaded onto the micro disk quickly. I would buy additional micro discs for them and myself if they happen to fill them up.

After we exchanged the defective card, it worked great. Unfortuneitly, the store could not check the card to see of it was ok.
