Really conceals dark shadows!5 star rating
by PhilosLover from Florida on May 2, 2008 at Macy's
"I really put this one to the test - I wanted to see if it would truly cover dark shadows. First, I tried it out on the back of my hand to see if it would cover my blue veins (tilt your hand downward to see what I'm talking about). After I gently rubbed it in, I checked in all sorts of light, and compared my hands, and really was surprised that it lightened the color so well. Then I decided to give it a try on under one of my eyes as a comparison. And I didn't get much sleep at all last night, so the bags are there for sure. I was impressed because it did a good job lightening my dark circles there as well.I had read over some of the negative reviews, and I have a few suggestions.- Make sure you're using a good eye cream first. You want the skin under your eyes hydrated, but you don't want to use a regular moisturizer. I use an eye cream, that helps to shrink the swelling. You can think of it as a base for your concealer (and don't use foundation instead, it isn't the same)- Watch to make sure you're not using one shade in the entire undereye area or you'll have rings around your eyes.- Use a very small amount of concealer and pat or lightly brush into place, don't rub it in. The last thing you want is to have it embed in the skin and in every crease."

This high priced concealer does not work2 star rating
by tweety1976 from Houston, TX on February 4, 2008 at Macy's
"I really wanted to like this product but it is not doing what it says at all. I even bought the concealer brush thinking it would work better, but I was wrong. It smears and settles in my fine lines. I have tried all of the concealers out there and this on is the worst. I like Bare Escentuals concealer a lot better than this. I just wasted over $50 on the concealer and the brush.:("

"I have tried many concealers and have worked for Clarins and CHANEL. This is the very best concealer but you should apply BEFORE your make-up (base, powder etc)."

"This product chose for me at the Macys makeup artist. It was look good, but when I tried at home, and put after foundation(from Lancome,too)-I got dark spots. I washed my face. And tried few more times-the same result."
  • Great for dark circle5 star rating
by happygirlie from San Jose, CA on March 30, 2009 at Macy's
"I have obvious dark circles under my eyes and was looking for concealer that would cover them. This concealer is very natural looking, easy to blend and does not sink into the fine lines at eye area. It has great coverage but it doesn't completely cover my dark circles. I have not found any concealer that will completely cover my dark circles but this concealer by far gives the most coverage with lightest feel."
  • GREAT CONCEALER!!5 star rating
by tstmnt from Valparaiso,IN on March 30, 2009 at Macy's
"I have used this concealer for at least 15 years now. It gives such good coverage. I have used it under my eyes, to cover blemishes, etc. It covers everything! One tube usually lasts me about 6 to 8 months. It is well worth it...You could use a cheaper brand and not have the good coverage and probably go through more tubes in that time frame...you would end up spending the same, if not more. If you try this concealer just once, you will never buy another."

"I use this product before I use the Renergie Lift Makeup. I put it around my eyes and also in "red" areas that appear from time-to-time. My eye makeup stays in place as well as my red areas just disappear. It doesn't take very much."

"My mother first bought this for her skin, and I tried it because I have bad dark circles under my eyes constantly from pulling all nighters. It actually covered them up and made my skin look smoother!I have young skin but it still worked very well under my eyes, and didn't look cakey at all."

by ShopperLI from Long Island, NY on January 23, 2009 at Macy's
"This concealer is the best. Is awesome! Makes entire eye area look brighter, great for covering dark circles. This product works best if you buy it a shade lighter than your actual skin tone so it can work to its full potential to reduce dark circles that appear under your eyes."
