Shine is notable by its absence! Perfect for oily skins to control oil and for all other skins as a primer. Oil is the principle cause of color change in makeup. Absence® actually helps control over-active sebaceous glands. It has no effect on the actual moisture (water content) of the skin. Controls oil and conceals large pores while priming the skin for makeup application. Non-drying and pH-balancing. Protects the skin from sun damage. Suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, but may also be used by normal skin types. Absence provides a sheer, color-free finish.

    I wasn't looking forward to adding another product to my makeup bag. But in all honesty, I'm happy I gave it a chance. I apply coverage on areas I find to become oily in the day. And now that I use it as a base to my foundation, it has helped create a matte look and fend off the oil until the evening. Almost 12 hours before I begin to notice any oil.

    This product didn't work for me. Not sure why. I have an oily t zone and I noticed no difference between using this plus the Amazing Base or using only the Amazing Base. I'm hoping that Bare Minerals Mineral Veil might do the trick so we'll see!

    I use this primer under my mineral foundation, and just love it. It really does make my makeup "sit" correctly and holds shine at bay for at least the first half of the day. Makes pores and fine lines seem less noted. Will purchase again. Thanks Jane!!

    This is a perfect base for powder foundations. I have large pores which can stand out with powder foundations. This primer smooths out my skin and takes away that large pore look. I still get some oil during the day but I have extremely oily skin. This primer plus the foundation creates a perfect matte finish.
