by kevstew from Columbia, Mo. on July 23, 2009 at Sears"I mow 3 acres and have owned an old Deere w/60" deck. I did much research before purchase. For the money you can't beat it. It's tuff easy to handle & even with a 54" deck I cut my mowing down to 2 1/2 hours from 4-5 hours and I don't have to get out the trim mower. Well worth the money. On my 3rd season!!! Very very happy!!!"

by DoctorHicky from Eastern Shore Virginia on July 18, 2009 at Sears"I've owned my zero turn for two seasons and I'm impressed with the way it handles my 6+ acres. Tried other models and makes but this one can't be beat hands down!! Bought it over a year span paying only for the cost of the machine less finance charge, only way to go!! Try it before investing in something less effective you won't be sorry!!"

by thurmma from Rogers, Arkansas on June 30, 2009 at Sears"Researched all brands of mowers and decided on the Husky because of previous experience with different Husky products.8.7 hours and NO COMPLAINTS at all! Very well built and easy to remove deck for blade sharpening or cleaning. As with one of the other reviewers they need to move the deck height control so it isn't so close to the steering controls and the transaxle lockouts are very easy to burn yourself on if you need to disengage the axle soon after running."

by woole from Central, Arkansas on June 28, 2009 at Sears"I bought is in April (had to wait 3 weeks to pick up). I mow about 1.5 in just over an hour. It is nice to cut the mowing time in half compared to the Murry 42". So far I have 8.3 hours and no problems. Only two suggestions for next modle... 1. Deck is lever operated and needs to be farther away from drive control lever. 2. Drive disengament handles are way to close to the exhaust. (If you get stuck and try to pull it out you it is very hot!)Over all great performance and handling."

by livsdad from Central NY on June 25, 2009 at Sears"After mowing 3 acres on an old Deere I decided to purchase a new mower. I had been researching all of the zero turn options within my price range and decided on this one. What a decision it turned out to be. What would normally take me 3 hours to mow with the JD ended up taking 1 hour with the Husky.. The 24hp Kohler is smooth, quiet and powerful. The controls are a bit touchy but once you get used to it you can really fly. When you engage the clutch on this thing the grass starts flying and you'll definitely want some type of ear protection if you will be mowing for a while. The hum from the blades may make you crazy, its not loud but you can hear it. I give this mower a 10 out 10 for the money."

by RZ5424 from Louisiana on June 16, 2009 at Sears"I compared the John Deere Z425, Cub Cadet 54 inch ZTR, Toro, and Craftsman 52 inch ZTR. All had great features but the Husqvarna RZ5424 had equal or better features for less money. The construction quality is equal to the John Deere for $1100 less. The Hydro-Gear transaxles have the same diameter drive shafts as the JohnDeere, the engine is a proven Kohler 24 hp. The mower cuts very even without scalping. Same warranty coverage as competitors. I believe this mower exceeds the quality of the MTD competitors. Very Pleased. If you are looking for a Residential Quality Zero Turn Mower, I highly recommend."
