"I just purchased this tractor yesterday. I mow 2 - 3 acres of rough yard. This tractor cut my mowing time considerably due to the tight turn radius and the 48" deck. I mowed weeds and grass that was knee high and the tractor went through it with ease. It did not bog down at all. It appears to be a well built machine. The V-twin motor makes it allot quieter than my other mower. It is comfortable to ride and drive. My 11 year old son drove it with ease. This is a nice machine!! The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the owners manual states that you should not clean the tractor with a garden hose or power washer. They suggest compressed air. The area that I live is extremely dusty and compressed air don't cut it. It says that you cannot get the engine or transmission wet becuase it will shorten the life of the tractor, and that it may leak into the seals of the transmission. All tractors may be like this, I dont know. But I sure do need to use water. They say if you are going to use water, cover the engine and transmission prior to spraying."

"I have owned this Tractor for a little over 3 weeks and used it for the third time; it only has 7.5 hours on the meter and the transmission was making a banging sound today when I would engage it, then the transmission stopped working. I couldn't believe something this new would break down in less than a month of owning it. I read the manual and tried to purge the transmission but this didn't fix it so I made an appointment to have it fixed at my home and hopefully it will be fixed on sight if not, I will be sending it back for a refund. I did buy the extended service plan for $340. extra and I guess it's a good idea to get this but I am not happy at all about it braking after less than 8 hours use."

"I purchased a new 24hp 48" cut mower about 2 years ago. I thought it would be a good mower since I own 3 other Husqvarna products that I truly love. Wrong answer. First of all the bracket that holds the rear wheel on fell off the first week I had it. You could look at it and tell the weld was not good. I repaired this and everything was okay for about 2 weeks when the other side fell off. I removed the deck from under the mower and rewelded the other wheel brackets. About 2 months later the deck height adjustment bracket on the right side broke because of a bad weld. Again I pulled the deck out and welded everything that had a weld on it again.I have had to replace all 4 wheel bolts since they come loose and fall off. Later the front wheel spindle broke and I had to reweld it. Later the other side broke and I had to reweld it. The bolt that holds the discharge chute on fell of and I had to repair it. I've had to rebuild one blade spindle and today one of the pulleys on the spindle became loose. I checked it and the nut that holds it on was tight but the pulley and the spindle were worn to the point that the splines on both were smooth.I spend more time repairing this mower than I do cutting grass. This is the worst mower I have every owned"

"Well this review starts out with all one's! The tractor arrived with a non-working transmission. Sears was sending a repair tech to look at the tractor.Sears requested we have someone at home for a full eight hours.... during which they would call. If you did not answer on the first try, they cancelled the appointment!Well my wife took the day off and waited...and waited. Sears called with about one hour left and stated the repairman was behind schedule... could you please reschedule? What! take another day off and maybe have the repairman show up?Told Sears to take back the tractor......"

"i researched every brand of tractor; green, white, red, yellow, orange-red, etc. for the money you cannot beat the YTH2348 Husky. it's quiet, it's powerful, and it will take Craftsman accessories. the 5 bogey wheel deck eliminates 99% of scalping...and i have a hilly lot. the construction and materials used is better than anything at a big box store too. don't be afraid of a brand name that you can't spell easily....this tractor is worth the money plus."

"I picked this mower up at the end of the year. Sears had a sale and also 0% interest. This mower cuts and rides like a million bucks. I cut my mowing down by almost half...great turning radius"

"Al I can say is my Husqvarna is like that famous watch, It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I really use it a lot here in Texas, and you know the weather is hot and humid. But it gives me no trouble. I am cutting one and one third acres. I Tell everyone about my Husqvarna."

"I purchased this 24hp 48 in. yard tractor in June of 2006. I use it every week to 10 days on a yard that is approximately 3 acres. I have MS and cannot use a walking mower. This mower has never given me a problem. It has plenty of leg room and it is easily accessable to get on and off the tractor. I enjoy yard work however, due to my disability I found I could no longer enjoy it. This has enabled me to continue doing things on my own. The attachments that can be purchased separately are also simple to attach. A++ when it comes to reliability and design!"

"I mow 3 acres with over 400 trees. The tight turning radius allows me to cut so close to the trees, its cut my weed whipping down from 8 hours to 2 hours. Mowing would take 8 hours includes the 3 hous of repairs I used to make on the old mower. My Husqvarna has my yard cut in 3 hours. so far no reapairs to date. very manuverable. easy to squeeze into tight spots. The seat is very comfortable."

Very nice tractor
Transmission bad?
Nothing but trouble
