The bottom line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
My son absolutely loves Wall-E and currently watches the movie almost every day! When I saw this in the store I absolutely had to buy it for his 3rd birthday. Even though it says 6 and up my son has no problems maneuvering him, making him dance, talk, sing etc. He absolutely loves this toy and we have had no mechanical problems so far. Runs on carpet and control still works from a substantial feet away.

This was my sons main Birthday toy and Wali\'s remote did not work and only one eye lit up.You would think for the money it would work correctly!

    I bought it at Disneyland - about $25.00 more than you could get at ToysRUs. I was frustrated that the remote worked for 2 minutes, then I could get it to work only periodically after that until - nothing. You have to move the joystick while holding a command button to get it to get it going again. No instructions with my Wall-e from Disneyland, but found them here: [@]

    the best toy in the world.so cool how you can program actions.The voice is just like in the movie.with this toy you have complete control over wall-e.

    My husband and I gave this to our 5 year old daughter on Christmas and she loves it. Wall-E does everything it is suppose to do so I don\'t know why there are some people that said they had promblems with it b\/c my husband and I have not noticed any promblems with our daughter Abby\'s Wall-E and she just loves him. We had some friends that came over the day after Christmas and right away she went and grabed him to show him to our friends. Our friends thought he was a cute toy along with our other family members. My husband\'s brother even played with him a little bit once our daughter went to bed. SO if you are thinking about getting your little one this I say do b\/c he is cute and we have had no promblems with him.

    My 2 year old daughter just got Wall-E for Xmas yesterday and she LOVES him! We watch her to make sure she is gentle with him, but she just loves making him dance! It took her all of 2 seconds to figure out the remote control. She has him going all over the living room as I type this. He works on tile and carpet with no problems. I love that his treads actually move. Even my husband loves to play with Wall-E too. I would definietly recommend him!

    My daughter saw this the other day when we were at the store and she really wanted it so my husband and I went to Toys R Us the next day and got the very last one. My husband played with it a little bit when it was in the box before she got out of school he says it is one awsome toy I can not wait to see her face on Christmas morning when she sees that she got one of the toys she so badly wants. I am sure it will be one awsome toy since she loves Wall-E and he is a very cute toy. My little girl is five years old.

    I just bought this toy today for my 15 month old son even though it says its for older kids. My son is pretty good with his toys, he doesnt destroy any of them so I decided to get this robot for him. At first he wasnt sure if he liked him, he looked a little afraid but after I showed him it was ok, he now loves this robot. My son says Wall E\'s name and he gives him a hug and a kiss haha. He likes to push the bottons on the control and loves to watch him dance. When I control Wall E for my son, he loves to crawl or run after him. So this will be a great toy now and as he grows up.

    Wall E shuts down just like in the movie. I have twin boys so I purchased two Walle U Commands that was very hard to do because they were always out of stock and the truck manifests were never correct. They played with them Christmas Day and started complaining that one command pad controlled both of them when they were working. I could not take them back because they were always out of stock. I give the product an overall grade of three because it was the hottest toy of the 08 Christmas season and when works it fun to play with.
