The Return of Epson as Champ5 star rating
by Mike4Homes from Los Angeles, CA on January 29, 2009 at Best Buy
"I didn't really realize how terrible my older HP all-in-one printer was until I replaced it with this wonderful new Epson WorkForce 600. I was able to set it up to my desktop and laptop computers via WIFI and I was printing flyers within a matter of minutes. The machine was printing the pages about 30ppm, but I noticed that the photos were a little pixelated. I decided to modify some of the settings so I selected "text/photo" instead of the default which is "text only." After that, the photos on my flyers looked great, but they printed much slower than before. Here's one thing I didn't read in the other reviews: The manual states that the printer/fax has to be connected to either an answering machine or external phone if you choose to use it as a fax on your primary phone line....otherwise it won't know whether or not the answering machine has picked up.Overall, this is the first Epson printer in a long time that can go head-to-head with newer HP and Canon models. I chose this printer based on the online reviews and I'm not disappointed with the print quality, features or the price."

Epson Multi-function Printers1 star rating

"This is my first and last Epson printer. I hadn't been warned about the ink problem. Their ink is expensive and is sold in cartridges with small capacities. The printer does not work well with generic brand ink."

  • Excellent All-in-one printer5 star rating
by trixy from Fredericksburg, VA on September 26, 2008 at Best Buy
"I am not very computer savvy, but I've got a wireless network configured with PC(XP) and Mac OS X(Leopard) and both printing great. Very easy setup, very fast printing, excellent quality printing, very compact and low price. I loaded paper with holes punched in it for insertion in a binder and kept getting "paper jammed" error. Do not use paper with holes as it will not work. Highly recommended!"

"You can not tell that it came from the printer vs the photo store like Walgreens or Kodak. If you looking for a printer that does everything with quality results, this is the one to buy. I am so shocked at how the photos print out. WOW! I highly recommend this printer. I use this printer mostly on wireless network with my laptop at home and its just awesome."

  • So far so good5 star rating
by Linnabean from Chicago, IL on December 18, 2008 at Best Buy
"I purchased this printer to replace an old HP printer.I had to call technical support to set up the wireless feature. I am pretty technically savvy. I was on line with them for about an hour or so. That was my only frustration. But now I love it.I wish the printing was a little more bold and crisp, but I'm sure there is something I can tweak to make that happen. The printer is loud but it is so fast that I don't mind the volume."
  • Buyer Beware!1 star rating
by Chris1970 from Ionia, Michigan on December 12, 2008 at Best Buy
"I bought this product less than two months ago. I did not buy the Best Buy warranty, as the Epson sales rep. in the Besy Buy store informed me that Epson already has a two year warrenty on the product. After using the product for around a month, I started scanning paper documents to generate an electroninc file system. After about twenty scans through the automatic feeder, however, I realized there were very thick lines from the top to the bottom of all the electronic pages. If I placed the paper directly on the glass, the lines were not there. I called Epson, and they could not fix it or refer me to anyone who could repair it. They are currently shipping me a new "working unit" at their cost, however, they have placed a hold on my credit card for the amount of a new unit, ultimately requiring me to buy a new one right before Christmas; although I'm told I will get the funds back after I send them my malfuntioning unit. They will not guarantee me that I will get a new unit, however; just a "fully functioning unit." So now after buying a brand new unit, I suspect I will end up with a refurbished unit that would have originally cost me 60-75% of what I originally paid. I suggest you go with an HP. That's what I origianlly intended to buy, but got sold on this unit by the sales rep (who was possing as a Best Buy rep...I didn't discover this until I had already purchased the item and was speaking with the cashier after the sale.) Buyer beware...."
  • GREAT ALL IN ONE5 star rating
by CCRNNJ from Colonia NJ on March 18, 2009 at Best Buy
"I found overall set up and wireless setup easy to do and had no trouble. Love the flatbed Scanner and Automatic Feed. I have had all in ones before and the automatic feeder never worked, this one is great, no paper jams. The tilt up control panel is a nice feature. I like that is goes into power saving mode when not in use. Directions are easy to follow.Very happy with it."
  • Best Printer I've ever owned!5 star rating
by Kempo from Brookline, NH on February 8, 2009 at Best Buy
"I love this printer. I was able to set up the newtworking capability in minutes. The directions were very easy to follow and overall set up was relatively simple. Scanner works just fantastic...I was able to scan my college homework in and save it as .pdf file. Copy function works great too and I recently used the fax feature without a hitch. This is really a great printer. Very satisfied."
  • Great printer/fax5 star rating
by Lazytranch from Cochise, Az on March 31, 2009 at Best Buy
"This all in one was very easy to set up the wireless. The whole setup was easy. Prints very good and fast. Feeds paper perfectly for printing or faxing. It is replacing two other all in ones Hp's that have a mind of their own. Everyone here uses it. No paper hangs. not an ink eater. We are saving money on the ink compared to the other printers. Scanner woorks great. Makes very nice copies. It is noisy so put in it a different room."
