After reading all of the negative comments on here I thought I had bought the wrong product. I went ahead and tried it anyway since I was just miserably uncomfortable. I used it during the day time because I just honestly wasn't going to wait until night time. I had a bit of a problem with the applicator but once I got it to stay in place it did not fall out like others had happen in their reviews. 10 hours after insertion I feel 100% better! Will definitely use again! I was very pleased with this product. No itching or burning what so ever.

I inserted the softgel insert as directed and it would not detach itself from the applicator. I ended up with a mess because the softgel broke in the process. Therefore I had the cream everywhere except where it was supposed to be. In the past I had purchased Monistat 1 but decided to use this product instead to save a couple bucks. You get what you pay for. :-(

I used this product at the first sign of a yeast infection. I thought it would be nice to have a one day treatment. I inserted it at about 10 pm. I woke up with horrible itching and burning 10 times worse than the yeast infection itself. It was absolutely horrible. And now, two days later, I still have the yeast infection. It didn't help at all. It only made things worse. I'm not impressed at all. Do yourself a favor and use the three day treatment. You'll thank yourself in the end.

I bought this at the first sign of a yeast infection that occurred after taking antibiotics. For about 4 hours after I first inserted the pod(9pm) I experienced intense itching and a moderate swelling sensation. I read that this was typical so didn't worry too much. I managed to finally sleep at 1am. Taking it at night was a definite good idea as it leaks out if you are up too much. I experienced more of the severe itching upon waking in the morning, but then at around noon it went away almost completely! I was extremely satisfied with the results of using this product and will use it again if I get another yeast infection.

Shortly after inserting the 'egg' I went to the restroom and it fell out! So I got no relief at all! It says 100% Satisfaction I'm tempted to take the box back to Walgreens and ask for refund of my $16!!

I purchased this product because I had been taking a "boatload" of antibiotics for my skin and an ear infection. I decided to try this product after having to cancel a GYN appt due to an "unscheduled" mentrual cycle. As a previous user indicated, the softgel did not insert as described leaving an awful mess. . A few mintues afer inserting, I started experiencing an internal itch like I have never experienced before. It was horrific. If I had a douche, I would have used it just to stop the insatiable need to scratch internally. I would definitely not recommend this product.

My return.I've tried the 1 day miconazole before and it is okay for early YI. The problem I had is product quality and design. The applicator is not prefilled or DIY. It comes with and egg that is inserted into the top of the applicator. The product claims for day-or-night, which I do not recommend since it leaks or discharges like any other Miconozale product. As far as style, the egg is placed at the top of the applicator--you can read the manual-- and is punctured at the tip once inserted. This happens to be closer to the vg canal entrance. You wonder will the egg dissolve. It does. You also wonder if the medication is dispersed evenly. I assume.I plan to try the 3-day Miconozale during my next YI.Until then, BOL and write reviews.

Worked great and didn't burn, just tingled a bit. Best used at night just before bed since it could get a bit messy and leak out. Make sure not to stuff the capsule-like medication onto the applicator as it will stay stuck and not release once inside. The ointment helped reduce the itchiness and soreness around my female part. Woke up the next morning and viola no more YI! Will use again if ever needed.

Some of the reviews talked about how difficult and messy it was to insert the "egg." It was quite easy for me to do that. I lied down on the floor, spread my legs, and when you insert the applicator, hold it on the side and push it in as deeply as you can, then you push the egg to go in. That'd prevent the egg from cracking early. I used it at night to prevent all the messiness int he morning.

After reading many of these reviews saying how bad this medicine made them itch and burn I was very hesitant to use this medicine. I called a friend of mine that's a nurse and she said it should be fine. So, reluctantly, I used this and wanted to keep specific details of it for this review. Inserting it wasn't as hard as some people made it seem. It never fell out. It was not messy. I put it in at 10:37 pm on a Sunday. 20 minutes later right at 11 it sort of tingled but that's it. It didn't bother me while i was trying to sleep but I was so nervous from the reviews that I didn't get much sleep. When I woke up in the morning the next day that's probably when it bothered me the most, walking around will make the cream inside the egg in you start to leak out so I had to wear a pad. Again it had a slight tingling feel for the next few hours. I knew it was there and I could feel it but never did it feel like it was severely burning or itching. By 1:40 pm on Monday I felt completely normal. I couldn't feel it anymore, but It was still a little sensitive down there when I went to the bath room. Now on Tuesday I feel completely better. I don't feel anything at all. Do NOT be scared by the reviews. Also this was my FIRST yeast infection and it says not to use OTC medicine for your first, but I did and now I'm better. Also my nurse friend said the reason some people may have experienced intense burning is b/c the medicine may have a reaction with soap you used to clean yourself down there. This medicine comes with sanitary wipes, use them!hope this helped. sorry it's long
