this fits my Sony VAIO 17" laptop fine.. . and no there's no padding.. but i dont mind since i usually use a open tote bag to carry around my laptop anyway... LOVE the vinyl though! matches my duffel bag =)

Can't quite yet fully rate this bag because I dont have one. Just having the same concerns of others....Does the material crack on this bag especially in the cold?? and The handle don't look that strong, will it hold a laptop good??

my mistake: getting the white one. anything i wear or whatever i do leaves its mark on the bag. if i wear a black shirt, the side where my body touched will be rubbed black at the end of the day. but my dumb color choice aside......the material is not worth $34. the worst part is the straps. they ruined a few of my good shirts because they rubbed and created lint balls. these straps came from hell. i hate them. and i wanted to love this bag so much.no small compartments inside at all. that's lacking even for a "laptop bag" (which this clearly isn't).the ONLY good thing about this bag is that it's ultra light -- i stuffed probably 10 million things in this and it was still the lightest thing i've ever carried. but don't be wowed yet -- anything with this kind of quality would be.

I got this in storm purple. I don't use this for my laptop, but as an everyday purse. It's the perfect size and easy to clean, if you want this, get it!

Okay, so obviously this is absolutely gorgeous. Nobody can argue with me about the caramel. I want to order this to carry around my stuff for school - do people think this would be good for carrying around just normal girl things for the day, plus a lunchbag in the mornings? Or am I dreaming? I mostly just carry around the normal essentials, plus maybe my pencil case and a thing of paper. I would most likely carry my books in my arms.

Just got this about a 2 weeks ago in white/sugar. I love it so much and it surprisingly looks clean and new still. I just wish it was lined inside or a little thicker.I use this as a regular bag, not for my laptop.
