My son loves his new tools but the batteries has been replaced a couple times in the last couples weeks. All i can say is rechargeble batteries!!!

These tools are really cute. My son just got them for christmas and loves them. It comes with two battery packs,however, my son hasn!t quite figured out how to switch the battery pack. Looks like I will be buying a couple more packs so he doesn't get frustrated.

ordered this item 2 weeks before christmas, received a ZHU ZHU PET HANGOUT in the box instead of the tool set... paperwork inside the box was for this item... i called toysrus and they told me they would fix the issue.. but the tool set was no longer available so i asked if i could browse the site again and try to find something similar and call them back... they said it was fine.. so later i searched the website and the tool set was back up as available so i called back and they said they would ship it out expidited shipping so i could still receive by christmas. dec 23rd it still hadnt arrived so i called to check on it and they told me it was never sent back out but sent to SHIPPING LABELS instead.. now i am sitting here the day AFTER christmas still without my order.. no money returned to my card and no shipping label sent to me to return the ZHUZHU PET HANGOUT they sent me on accident instead of my tool set.. all in all i would say i dont know much about the tool quality because i have not received it.. but the customer service is pathetic.

I'd love to be able to buy more "battery packs" (they're really just holders for two double A batteries). The rechargeable, interchangeable battery packs paradigm makes sense for real tools, but for toys (and when they're not rechargeable), it makes little sense. We're always trying to find a toy with a battery pack to make the toy of the moment work. If they sold the battery packs separately, no problem. But they don't, so it is.

Bought all the Home Depot toys for my two year old grandson to enjoy and work side by side with Grandpa. He loves them and they are fun for him to feel like he's working like grandpa.

The set looks nice but the problem is that there is a drill with nothing to drill and a saw with nothing to cut. We have a smaller set that has a screwdriver with some screws. I thought this would be better for two kids, no fighting over it, but the other makes more sense, actually having it do something, I would not purchase again. I will now have to search for something to make it functional and keep their interest.

Bought this for my 2 and a 1/2 year old son. He loves helping my husband fix things and use his tools, so I knew this would be perfect! I was right! Each tool is very realistic in the way it looks, works and sounds. The only negative thing I can say, is that my son has trouble getting the rechargeable batteries on and off, but again, he's only 2. All in all, this toy is awesome!!!

This is a great toy for kids. My 2.5 year old son and 5 year old daughter love it. It is hard to find, but worth it! They love to "fix" things around the house.

I gave this item one star only because I have ordered this twice and both times I have had a drill that doesnt work. Very frustrating since my boys want to play with it more than any of the other items. They love the tools but I question the quality.
