I installed this shed under a deck about 8 months ago. With a walk-out basement the bottom of the deck floor joists is about 7'10" off the ground (going by memory so not exact). I had planned to put a shed under here and so under the deck the ground is compacted #2 aggregate gravel. Then I put 16" paver stones on top of that for the deck to sit on. A nice feature of assembling this shed is that the roof panels need almost no vertical clearance above the roof ridge in order to assemble. The shed's roof ridge comes within 1" of the joists and no problem during assembly. The shed is well protected from wind and sun under the deck and looks good under there I think. Assembly went well and I am loving the storage space.

The price was very good for this shed. Also, of high quality. The assembly was easy until I got to the roof panels! Thankfully, I had a tall almost acrobatic helper to install the roof panels. These 8 panels took as long to install as the rest of the shed! Now that it's done, it is great, and it did very well in a recent rain storm. Just make sure you have someone with a long reach and good balance when it comes to assembly time!

Bought two sheds...real easy set up as long as you follow directions exactly. no problems at all. Waited till after the rainy season in Hawaii to write this...no leakage in both buildings. The looks and space inside are great. So far I have 26 very large plastic containers in one shed and using only about 1/3 of the space. We actually put the second one up about a third of the way before we dismantled it and moved it to my other house...no problem in putting it back together.

Im a contractor and build alot of sheds. This one was very easy to assemble, two guys in an hour anf a half and went together well even on a 40 degree day. The instructions were clear, pieces were well marked and shed iteslf is amazingly big for its dimensions and a tall interior so no bumping of heads. The windows add a nice touch and ligth in. Very happy and def recommend.

My son put this building together basically by himself in about 4 hours. It was a breezy day and I had to hold the walls until he got the corners in place, but everything went very well. My son is 6 feet tall and only stood on a short stool when putting on the roof. He never did need a step ladder. The only defect we found was some of the snap-in slots were not punched out in the wall panels. Of course, he had to cut them out before he could snap those pieces together. This should be a quality issue with the mfg that molded the product. QA should have caught those defects. Otherwise, I really like my new storage building and it looks really good! I would recommend it as a good value and look forward to many years of service from it.

Fortunately, I looked at the Suncast website before ordering this product. The plans for the base were on the instructions, and I spent a Saturday afternoon constructing one. My wife and I assembled the building in about four hours this morning, with minimal griping, which I attribute to good instructions. We are most pleased with the finished product.

In general, this is a good product and I probably would have given it 5 stars if not for some extra work that I shouldn't of had to do. On most of the side panels, I had to cut out a slot where there should have been a slot - manufacturing defect. The panels would not lock together and it was agravating. If not for this it would have been a breeze to put together. QA on the parts should be stepped up by the manufacturer!

I was a little bit overwhelmed when I saw the directions on putting the shed together, but when I started putting it together it was a lot easier than I thought. It is very sturdy and it looks good. I would buy and put another one together.

I wasnt sure what i expected when i bought this shed to unclutter my yard, but was happily surprised when it took only a few hours for two people to setup. I was lucky enough to have a flat piece of land to have the shed stand. Those that dont will need to build a foundation(add some more hours to setup). The construction is sturdy and blocks out all elements, the windows add a little class to the shed. Does not come with any shelving which is a downside. I would recommend buying it when you purchase shed.

I specificly ordered this Suncast shed for the color that was pictured on the Sears website, turns out to be grayer and not the beige as pictured!! The only other problem was one of the roof peak panels was slightly damaged when packaged ( it has a 4" crack ). I applied some Gorilla glue and it is now ok.

This is a good lawn building to store your lawn tractor and other yard use items, because of the many extra options available. The shed does show a lawn tractor inside but it was "recommended" to build a solid foundation for it before parking a tractor inside. I assembled this shed in a little over 2 hours by myself on a breezy day with the aid of bungie cords. It went together well. The instructions were very clear and well written. The only change I could see is a heavier duty locking mechanism for the doors. The plastic handles arne't very strong for preventing a break-in. Otherwise, this is a great shed for our use here at home.
