My Canon 3600 began printing purple photos, and a test print showed the (Staples equivalent) Yellow non-existent. I replaced it with another Staples equivalent; same outcome. May be the printer; I'll go buy a Canon original ink tank to be sure. Meantime, beware!

I purchase the remanufactured inkjet
cartridges the first time because they were less
expensive then the Canon. I tried them and they did the job. I have not done a survey on how long
the life of the cartridges. I did purchase the
cartridges again and I will keep a record on the life whether it last a long time or short time. -

Sometimes I experience difficulty with the Staples version of the Canon 221 series. Indication is "out of ink" when it is still almost full.

These cartridges work as easily and as reliably as Canon's official cartridges at a lower price. I have also purchased the 4-pack because I needed one color and stored the others for a year or more without problems. I do not unwrap them except by accident. And, an accident happened once; I grabbed the wrong cartridge. However, that cartridge worked just as well when I used it several months later. I can't think of any reason why I would ever pay "full price" for Canon's "official" cartridges when these work just as well. Thanks, Staples!

So far I have had no problems with the Staples ink.
I have bought ink online which has worked at the start but then stops being compatible. It has become a major headache so I bought the Staples ink because of the guarantee behind it. The name brand ink is so expensive so I was looking for a good alternative. The catridges are easy to install and the ink is always readily available at my neighborhood store.
The best selling point was the guarantee that if I was not satisfied I could return the ink without a problem.
And, the trade in ink cartridge plan is great! -

After further research, I see that this Staples brand is NOT comparable to the Canon brand. It has less ink in the cartridge - just 7.5ml to the compared 12 ml in the Canon. So it is cheaper, b/c you are getting LESS ink! I was under the impression that I was getting a recycled cartridge filled with the same amount of ink for a better price. Wrong! I feel very misled!

Still using, don't know about longevity of cartridge. Didn't leak like Internet cartridges I bought in past. Convenient package of all needed cartridges at lower price than name brand usually available in store. Later needed another cartridge so it saved $$ not to have to run + buy another cartridge.

Haven't printed too much since purchasing, hence the 3 star rating. I haven't really seen a big difference between these cartridges and the cannon ones with the exception in price. There wasn't a huge difference there either.

the staple brand is only 7.5ml per cartridge.the real canon ink is 9ml per cartridge, so simple math tells us for the staple's brand 4x7.5ml=30ml.at [$] divided by 30 gives us [$] per ml. For the canon brand at $47.99 divided by 36(4x9ml) gives us only $1.33 per ml. so for every 4 pack of staples ink you buy you are being shorted 6ml and paying 10 cents more per ml.But i would add that i think both brands are of equal quality.

Let's face it, unless you are planning on printing professionally, ink is ink. This is perfect for everyday use for printing documents, letters, coupons, etc.
