Nice way to moisture envelopes instead of with you tongue.

I've always used the more expensive type, but the last ones I had dried up before they were used, so I decided to try these. I'm glad I did, I really like this product, and it has an open-close feature, so you don't end up with dripping wet envelopes.

I was very apprehensive about buying this, but it is so inexpensive, I thought I'd give it a try. It actually works pretty well. I keep a paper towel handy in case too much water comes out, but when you just are doing a few envelopes at a time, that doesn't seem to be a problem.

I ordered this to help seal envelopes. Not worth it! It is messy and drippy. I have not sealed an envelope well since using this.
It has now found a home in the junk drawer.

We tried to use it but it put out too much water and it drowned the envelopes then they would not stick. Slobber is better you can control that.

I don't like using the glue sticks because they make such a mess. I got this and it's okay. If you squeeze too hard (I know.. don't squeeze too hard) water comes out of the sides. I THINK when you twist the top it closes it but there are no directions. This is a guess. It should have a good cap so I can lay it down in the desk.

I love this device mostly for it's simplicity. It does what it is intended to do.

You have to keep dabbing the sponge onto what your trying to moisten so that the water eventually comes out. If you squeeze it slightly the water just comes out on the sides and makes a mess. The sponge is too large of a circumference to use to wet a small tacky strip on a regular sized envelope. I tilt the bottle to use just a portion of the sponge, and sometimes it isn't the part that's actually wet.

I have a dozen bottles lying around -- too bad you're unwilling to sell the sponge caps; they wear out too quickly.

Purchased this for our small office as I was getting tired of licking the bad tasting Staples envelopes. Came across this moistener on the Staples site and figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. The moistener is easy to fill but impossible to regulate. You either get no water or way too much. The envelopes end up wrinkling from too much water and have to be taped shut.
I am back to licking envelopes and this moistener just sits on my desk as a reminder that you get what you paid for.

This thing licks envelopes just right for me. It's a joy to be able to hold my licker.

This product is a good value. Using water or a sealer works great in this. As I said above, the yellow top shreds after a while so we have to throw out the whole bottle (which I feel is a waste). I wish we could replace the yellow top. That would make it an even better product & I would give it 5 stars.

You have to press fairly hard for the water to come out. When it does, it is too wide of a strip and it results in overly moistened glue, a wet surface underneath, and a crinkled envelope from too much water. This product was inexpensive, but like they say, you get what you pay for. I should have bought the roller with the glue already in it. This one fails to seal the envelope because the glue is too wet. I ended up taping the envelopes closed anyway. I would not buy another one, and I will probably be back at Staples buying the one with the glue in it.

I am allergic to latex. Some adhesives, such as those on envelope flaps, contain latex. Since I cannot determine which do and which do not contain latex, I have to avoid contact with all adhesives. Staples Envelope Moistener allows me to moisten and seal the flaps without actually touching them.

Inexpensive & handy, this little sponge bottle makes sealing quantities of envelopes relatively quick and easy. Tip 1: Don't squeeze the bottle or you'll get too much water. Tip 2: Touch lightly with the sponge or you'll tear it up quickly.

Product did not work well for the purpose of moistening envelopes. Sponge head is too big, makes a mess. Not precise enough.

I purchased this envelope sealer to assist with monthly mailings. The sponge is what I am not happy with. The top of it is now crusted, making the water impenaterable. Also, the sponge is desinigrating. I have only sealed maybe 100 envelopes with it. It didn't last long.
