I brought this product for my son; then I thought this would be great for me.

Picked this up so I wouldn't have to lick about 35 Christmas card envelopes, and it worked great! Handy little thing to have around.

Using this sure beats licking envelopes or using a dampened sponge to seat the envelopes.

Used for moistening envelopes for a mass mailing. Was a real hit since it replaced having to moisten the envelopes the old-fashioned way... by licking. The distribution of water through the sponge top was just right.

I purchased three of these bottles and two of them are unusable. The water pours from the bottle and saturates the envelope. Only one of them is usable.

I bought this product because I hate to lick envelopes. But the minute I tried to use it the sponge came right off.

The design idea is great! Needs a different type of glue that is not affected by water.

Found out about this little thing about 5 years ago, now I always have to have one around the house. Way better than having to lick stamps and envelopes.

The moistener leaks badly if you turn it upside on the envelope to use it. Holding it upright works ok but is hard to do by yourself without knocking it over and spilling it on the table. Needs improvement.

...and leaves little crumbles everywhere. Too bad, I liked the idea of not having to buy new ones every time the fluid ran out. Now I'm looking for something more durable. Like the old-fashioned porcelain wheel with reservoir.

This moistener was easy to use and got the job done. The only con I have is that it sometimes wet the envelope too much, which I'm sure you can get use to.

We had over 100 wedding invitations to mail out, so this saved us the trouble of licking the envelopes and risking paper cuts.

While this item satisfies it's purpose, it is far from perfect. When sitting the sponge will dry up, then when you need to use it a bit of a squeeze will get it wet...too wet in most cases. If you really don't want to use your tongue it is certainly an option, but it's a bit to messy for my taste.

Not worth it. Used about 10 times (2 or 3 envelopes each time) and sponge fell off.

You're better off using a slightly wet paper towel to dampen the envelope adhesive. After one days use the sponge broke off and too much water comes out at once.

The larger sponge is better made and works better than the traditional version of this product. I hope the sponge holds up.

In my line of work I have to send out large envelopes that have glue seals.
Once i bought this, I no longer had to use tape to seal them (No way I am licking them)
Small enough it is handy on the shelf or desk...and large enough that it does not need run out of water

Leaks a little when you squeeze it to get the sponge wet, but that's expected a little bit. For the price and the use, it's perfect. The sponge stays wet all day and it's easy to grab when needed.

This product is terrible. I ordered it for the office, and all I can say is how much I hate it. It leaks too much water all over your papers, the sponge breaks apart, and it also leaks out the side. It may be cheap to buy, but trust me, the dab n seal is well worth your dollar. DO NOT buy this product. You will have problems with it.

Not up to Staples quality. This was the only option of this product available at the time. I bought 2 staple envelope moisteners and on both, the sponge fell off by the 5th envelope. I returned both of them. I've used similar products in the past, not of this construction, and have always had remarkable results. Very disappointed.

Worked well for the price. We used it to seal over 100 wedding invitations and never had to refill.

Had 3. Water either came out of the side and sponge, only the side, or leaks a lot of water while gently moistening envelope. Won't be using these at all.
