This is a very heavy trivet. Nice rubber tips for counter protection. Very pretty. I bought it to go with the round trivet of similar design.

Though maybe I should have figured it out from the description that this is cast iron (I have a couple of cast iron skillets I love, and I know what cast iron is) the way this photo was taken with the light bouncing off - I thought that it was more of a polished steel look. Darker than expected, but very heavy, good quality trivet that will last for years and years.
