This card is basically a $50 card for the PSN. I've tried searching in many other retailers, and surprisingly Best Buy was the only one that actually charged $50 for the $50 card. Charging tax for this card is ridiculous, since you already pay taxes when you use the credit. It would be like paying taxes twice! fortunately, Best Buy understands this. Also, other retailers ask for more than the face value of the card. Why?!? 50 bucks credit should be 50 bucks, not 46 or 40 or something like that.

There's not much to review here. The funds are added into your PlayStation Network "wallet" as soon as the code is entered. Just follow the instructions on the back of the card. I've never wanted to use a credit card online (and I'm glad that I didn't, especially since PSN was hacked), and this card works as it should. If you need to purchase items from the PlayStation store, your best bet is to get a PlayStation Network card. And the best part of it all... *YOU GET REWARD ZONE POINTS IF YOU PURCHASE THIS CARD AT BEST BUY!* Do you get any Reward Zone points with a direct credit card payment to the PlayStation store? (Well, unless it's a Best Buy credit card...) = ]

This is so useful! Once you connect your Playstation 3 to the internet and make a PS account, you can go to the Playstation Store and use this card. Use it for almost anything you can think of! You can download demos, add-ons, mini games, regular games that you would find on a disc (such as Grand Turismo), and so much more such as wallpaper, screensavers, and even movies and television shows! Of course, being the Guitar Hero fan, I use it to buy many, many songs. It's great!

title and whats great about it says it all, theres nothing wrong with finding something you like and wanting to buy it! lol i find them not only in best buy, but other locations which are more closer to my house, but just for the leg stretch, i go to best buy [for the best of the buys] and with addons like the map pack for COD4 and the new add on[i think its an add on] for GTA4 thats comming out soon? i suggest you get one of these lovely cards! they make great gifts for anyone who owns a ps3!

Eh, this is nothing special really. Just like xboxlive, it just lets you buy stuff off the video game marketplace. The only upside it using this instead of a credit card 'cause we all know how bad identity theft can get nowadays. The only downside is that downloads and add-ons can be pretty expensive...the good ones at least but that's probably 'cause it's the point. I have 2 360s and a PS3 and the 360 marketplace is MUCH cheaper

True you have to go to the store to pick it up, but you can use cash to buy it and then use it on PSN. And as an added bonus if your a reward zone member you get reward zone points...can't beat that.

I purchased this card because I couldn't find any psn network codes anywhere, which you get within the hour after purchasing, at least I do. I highly recommend getting the network code instead of this card, unless you don't mind waiting.

The card sent to my was not activated. It cannot be activated in the shop either! I called so many times and the people were not very helpful over the phone! I will have to wait for at least 20 mins for someone to pickup. If you want to buy the cards, buy from the shop, not online.
