you cant fine tune the bass or treble without going through the settings and it dont explain anything in the manual how to adjust the bass or treble, you have to figure that out yourself, never had a sony car deck before and never will again.

If you want something simple to use yet packed with a lot of features..this is it! It has everything from a 7 band equalizer to usb/aux jacks. The cool part is there is not a big learning curve. Maybe took me 5-10 mins of fooling around with it to get everything figured out. The sound is great because of Sony's processing and the iPod menu is very easy to navigate between songs. Match this up with some new Polk speakers all the way around and you have a rockin' sound system. I would buy this again. Great product!

I have a Jeep Wrangler, and although it is a hardtop, the noise can get really loud and so you have to turn up the music even more. It had gotten to where in order to hear the music, the stereo had to be turned up really high. Since i got this, i don't have to turn it up so loud to hear the music. It looks great and works phenomenally. Really love it.

This radio is AWESOME!!!! We got it installed before our vacation and was very happy on our trip. We had our oldies music all the way there and back. Our vacation was perfect thanks to the people at the Peachtree City, Ga. location. Chris, Daniel, and Brian were excellent team members. They got us the best item for our use and installed it when the kit came to our house. I drive from Forest Park, Ga. to Peachtree City, Ga. to get the excellent service they all give. I can't get the same quality of service at the Mount Zion store in Morrow, Ga.

Good value for the price. Controls are not totally intuitive and takes some attention to navigate. iPod USB function is great but finding your favorite song when you want it takes a little searching. My only gripe? When searching through your iPod library too quickly the playback will skip like a broken record (remember those?) until you power the deck on and off. AUX port in front is a excellent way to plug in my portable Pioneer XM Inno Radio when FM becomes too mundane.

I bought 2 radios last year, both Sony, love them. Now, I get this one for $40 less than the other with most of the features of the other radios. I paid $129 for the comparable radio last year. Bang for the buck, this is a great deal, buy it! You can't change display colors, but they saved money on some options. Sounds great, and has RCA outs for a sub and a USB input on the front, usually not offered at this price point.

Got this for an 03 Windstar mini van, electronics have come a long way since then. Wanted to be able to plug in iPod, iPad, MP3 players along with portable XM radio. This fits the bill just as desired. It sounds pretty good, has enough power to make either music or talking heard and understood with the stock mini van speakers. Talk radio and books on tape are used often during longer road trips. Both the usb and regular input jack work perfectly and it will charge the iPod while it is plugged in. The only thing goofy is you loose control of the music on the iPod and must go through the songs one at a time with controls on the radio. This is a good radio, I'd buy it again without a doubt.

I put it in my daughters car. I read the instructions and set it up. She uses her iphone and the radio all of the time. She has never asked me a question about how to use it and her only comment was that it sounds much louder than the factory radio. I did not replace the speakers, they are still original.

I paid $59.99 plus tax which meant I was out the door for $65! I needed a CD/USB/Aux Input unit for cheap before I left for a road trip. I checked all around and everything I found was $80+ at least for even the lousy units. I had unbelievable luck because the day I was going to buy a different unit and hen the Deal of the Day was this unit for $59.99!!! This unit replaced an old Apline unit and has held it's ground. I have Alpine Component sets all around, and a 12" Fosgate sub running off a 300 RMS amp. All in it sounds great after I tuned it in to my specs. Highly Recommended!!

Tuner section is weak, hard to receive weaker stations that my old Alpine used to pull in. Also I can't get my iPod to shuffle even though I'm following the directions. Other than that I think it's a fantastic unit for the money

Overall, I'm disappointed with this unit; and I will return/exchange it soon. Sound quality is excellent, as I'd expect from Sony. I'm a long-time Sony fan. My HDTV, camera, and previous car stereos, are Sony. Buttons (controls) are small, with teeny-tiny captions. Display is far too dim (with DimOff) to be seen in daylight.

Unit is easy to use and, with the manual, it is easy to understand. I love how it displays the information for each song as well as what is currently happening with the radio station. The controls are easy to use and the initial setup is easy as well, once you get the hang of how the system works, and this is easy to find out, also. And the USB and Auxiliary plug-ins work great, also. So far I have no issues with this stereo, glad I got it.

The sony does everything I could ever want except drive the car. I am a litle older and learning to utilizeall the features is taking some time. I love the sound and all the gadgets included...even a remote control. I suggest you strongly consider this radio+.
