I bought the Brutus because the other one was poorly rated. It did the job very well. For accuarcy in cutting you should measure and mark the tile, instead of using the adjustable guide.

I bought this cutter as an alternative to a power tile saw thinking if I had to finish my tiling project after the kids went to bed it wouldnt wake them up. Only problem is that after scoring the tiles the cutter kept breaking them. I took it back and did what I should have done in the first place...bought a power saw which worked great.Moral of the story...any time you can buy a power tool for the cost of a hand tool...do it!

Did not cut the 20 inch tile straight at all and I tried three times, true I am a novice with this tile but have worked with ceramic before and they should specify.

I bought this recently for a few upcoming tile saws. I was very happy with how it cut. When scoring the tile don't put too much pressur on the tile, same with the breaking portion of the cut. Let the saw work for you. I would buy it again in a second. Good saw!

This cutter does a great job cutting. The guide is not square. I will try to return it to the manufacture for replacement.

This tile cutter not only accommodates MANY sizes of tile, it is quality built. Worth the price because it is so easy to use and accurate. You'll save money by not breaking tiles. You'll have this for decades to come.

Purchased this tile cutter because we were ceramic tilingthe downstairs in our house. It worked like a charm! Noproblems cutting the tile at all and it was 16" x 16" tile.It made straight even cuts with no chipping of the tile orbreakage. I am completely satisfied with this purchaseand would recommend it to anyone considering putting inceramic or porcelain tile.
