We put these on both cabinet doors and drawers. We decided to try these 1st because they were inexpensive and we needed over 20. They were fairly easy to install but time consuming. And within a couple of days our 1 year old figured out how to open these, but even before he figured out how to open them they were quite annoying because when they locked they still allowed cabinets to open about 1-2 inches-therefore alot of banging ensued while my son was trying to open doors.(He soon thought it was a game) My son is always on the move so after about 2 weeks he decided the extra 2 seconds it took to open the doors was too long so one by one he broke them all off.

If you have half a brain that can read instructions and can align properly, these are great. If you cant screw in a screw or visibly cant align items correctly, then don't bother. They seldom need to be re-tightened/readjusted but otherwise excellent.

Wish I had seen this reviews before I purchase the pack. I followed the installation prosedure step by step and still the space to slip the finger in was too small for anyone to use.

They do not stop the baby from opening . And if she pulls hard enough they pop right open! They easily break! Should of read a review 1st.

Awful product. I should have known though, Safety first has always dissapointed me. Terrible to install and my lil one just ripped it right out when she pulled the cabinet (She's 10 months) Definitely would NOT recommend! This is the last time you fool me, Safety First!

Frustrating! Frustrating! Frustrating! Impossible to install. Spent 30 minutes trying to install 1 latch and gave up after that. Returning tomorrow.

These latches do not work well! My husband had a hard time installing them properly and he's no dummy when it comes to home improvement. Also, at 14 months, my very tiny daughter was able to pull one of the cabinet doors open!

Wish I would have read the reviews first. They are actually worse than they appear to be on here. Installation was difficult. The screws broke repeatedly trying to screw them in. When they did manage to hold up, they didn't keep the latches in place, so you had to constantly try and re-adjust them. The latches were easily pulled apart after even just a few uses.

They worked for the first month or so...now they sometimes work, sometimes don't. We are going to change all of ours to locks with a spring locking mechanism instead.

These safety latches are perfect for keeping curious children's hands away from dangerous household liquids, such as bleach & dishwashing detergent. The latches are so designed that an adult will easily be able to open cabinet doors without a fuss.
