I work nights so I bought this for readjusting my schedule and for seasonal affective dissorder. Every year as soon as it starts getting dark I start to lose the energy that I get in the spring. It does seem to help charge my battery this winter even after the first week. As for the product, it seems to be good quality and has worked well. The timer is nice! I use it for 45 minutes when I wake up while reading the paper and then it shuts off when I'm at 45 minutes. I don't use the ionizer.

Best priced item that I could find on the internet. Does what it is supposed to and I use it every day. The ionizer does have a smell but it is not obnoxious. Even the cat likes to sit in front of it.

This light source is big enough to feel like you are getting a good amount of light, and small enough for a desk top while working on the computer in the morning.

I choose this product after weeks of research and couldn't be more pleased with it. It was the best I could find within my price range and I was pleased that it has features that many of the higher priced ones are lacking. After a month of use, I am extremely pleased with the results. Anyone who suffers from SAD or even lives in states that have little winter sunshine, could benefit greatly from this product.

The light is super bright, as it should be. Definitely follow the recommendation to use the light in an already decently lit room, if possible. It will reduce the eye strain.The ion part of the light did put off a plasticy smell when I first turned it on, but that went away. I'm happy with my light!

I was feeling the winter blues (well, maybe more than blues) and needing to come home from work every day and take a nap. I considered antidepressants but don't want to go that route yet, so I checked [@] for light therapy boxes, and this one was out of stock, so I bought it from Walgreens. I haven't been using it every day, but the mornings I use it, I've noticed my mood stays good even on cloudy, rainy/snowy days, and if I use it for 15 min. when I come home from work, I don't feel sleepy until bedtime, around 10-11. I'm happy I bought it and think it's worth the price.

This little box is already paying big dividends [...] I live in the Midwest and every winter suffer from SAD.. craving carbs, low energy, general malaise. I've only used it about 6 times and already I've noticed more energy, less food cravings..it even seemed to alleviate my PMS this month. Hard to believe, I know,but it really did! My husband uses it too, he works third shift. Already, I've noticed a difference in his energy levels though he claims it's not doing anything. He's no longer sleeping all hours and moping about because of his 3rd shift schedule. It's really easy to use, but first 2 times I noticed slight nausea and a little headache after use. Try and situate this thing so it's above you as that's where you typically find the sun, ha-ha (also based on research I have read) .. I try everything to overcome SAD..I workout 3 times a week for 2 hours at a time but winter comes and it inevitably gets me down. I'm hopeful that this winter will be different, so far it's proving to be the case. Buy this! The ionizer has a weird smell but it's not offensive and you get used to it quickly. It's said to help with regular depression too and I intend on using it year round. I'd give it 5 stars but I've only owned it for a week and a half so far

Excellent overall product! It is very easy to use and I have had significant results in just the first two days. On the negative side, the base is a bit light so it can tip over on uneven or soft surfaces (like a bed) if you are not careful. Also, it is important to only use it for the recommended time and at the right distance. Overexposure can cause minor sunburn, even though there are no UV rays. None of this is a deal-breaker, though. I love it. Highly recommended!

I use it in the morning while I am working at my computer. My eyes are more sensitive to light than normal but it is easily tolerable. The negative ion function freshens the air as if you were outdoors. I love it.

This product has made a big difference. When I use it approx 30 minutes each morning, it warms my face and gives me a special "lift" that helps get me through a busy day. Even though I purchased it late in the winter season, it has helped to improve my general mood and energy level without drugs or caffeine. Before resorting to seeing a physician for seasonal depression, try this first. You may not need those pills!!!

I've used this product for over a month now. The effects have been startling. Within days I had more energy. It is also much easier to wake up in the morning. After a few weeks my mood has changed for the better.I use the SunTouch+ every morning for 30min, and run the ionizer whenever I'm home.

I use it every day for 15-30 minutes. I especially like the negative ions feature, which is refreshing in addition to the light. This model emits 10,000 lux. Bulbs are replaceable, but may last 2 years. You don't need to stare at the light; they recommend to glance at it occasionally, so I use this while working at the computer in the morning--checking email, eating breakfast, etc. They say the benefit of the light goes through the retina of the eye for hormonal balance, not through the skin. I like the bright light. It is better for my skin than tanning, and I can still get that bright light infusion. It works really well as an extra space light too. Lights up a huge area. My cat loves when I turn on the ions. Great deal as well. I am so glad I didn't buy a used one!

This light is lightweight so you can carry to another location if needed. It appears to be well made. Several family members use it and like it.
