This mailbox is large, but not too large. Has a slot for the newspaper, and mail can be accessed from the rear or back side. It is very nice. Be sure to purchase a mailbox anchor post kit.

Still not complete with the assembly! The pre-formed box is extremely hard to line-up and slide into place. I have already destroyed part of the box while trying to keep everything lined up while forcing the box to slide into place. Not happy. I am now using words that I never knew existed. Oh, and I am missing a screw for the post; 3 instead of 4. Sweet. My head is about to explode.

This mailbox is not for Ohio winters. Will not withstand the the snowplows discharge.Have fixed this mailbox 4 times this year and unless we have an early spring it probably will not make the winter. The dovetail design and less than durable plastic are design flaws.Unit was probably not tested in a northern climate.

This mailbox with post is not capable of holding up to Wisconsin winters. The rail system the box mounts to along with the small one inch screw that is supposed to secure came apart the first time the snow plow went. I was looking at the Rubbermaid name on it and associated that with a quality product. Apparently not the case in this instance.

Very few parts and easy-to-read instructions that give the impression that assembly will be a breeze. Unfortunately none of the holes for the screws were pre-punched and the plastic parts had to be carved out with a knife to make them snap together (which they never did). The finished mailbox is unstable on the post, but it looks good, so I hope someone doesn't discover that they can knock it off with a simple shove. I had to enlist the help of someone with better tools than those called for in the instructions, since the plastic is quite hard to punch through or carve out. I should have taken the mailbox back for an exchange, but after my neighbor put in 2 hours of frustrating work, I didn't want to make him feel like all that time he spent was wasted. Check the parts carefully before you begin assembly. Hopefully, mine was just a bad lemon and not typical of the product.

I was very pleased with this mailbox. Easy to install and appears it will last for a long time.. I was very happy to find it in black since most I've seen are beige or green. Gives a nice appearance in front of house.

I am delighted with my new mailbox and post combo. It looks great and was so easy to put up! No problems what-so-ever, plus I never have to paint it. This is the second one of these mailboxes I have purchased. I had one at a previous house I owned. I was delighted to get a chance to buy another one just like it only a little larger. I now have a place for my paper or small packages to be in out of the rain. This is a great product and I recommend it highly!

I was very pleased with the appearance and size of this mailbox. It's much more attractive than the other Rubbermaid mailboxes that you normally see - plus, it's nice and large, without looking TOO large. I also purchased the Gibraltar reflective address plaque, which when attached to the top, really dressed the mailbox up.

I just installed this mailbox yesterday. It does look really nice, and I think it will work well. However, I had some problems with the assembly. Although it was easy to slide the newspaper holder onto the post, it was difficult to attach the cover to the base of the mailbox. The holes didn't line up. Also, there were no pre-drilled holes for the middle screws, so I ended up using just four screws--one at each corner. It seems as if it will hold okay. The worst part, though, was sliding the assembled mailbox onto the newspaper holder. I really had to use some elbow grease. It took several attempts. I finally had to put it on the floor and lean on it quite heavily while I slid the top into the slots. The plastic slots are VERY pliable, so be careful. If you try to force it at all, the plastic bends very easily. I had to smooth out the bent parts with a screwdriver so that they weren't sticking up, and then I was finally able to slide the top on.

I love the idea of the all in one mailbox. Easy to install -- just assemble the mailbox and put the post over the 2X4 that you have for your old mailbox -- takes about 1/2 hour to install. You can get your mail and newspaper in the front or the back of the mailbox. I have the mocha color and it looks great -- best looking mailbox in my area.

This mailbox was very easy to install and it looks pretty good for what it is. I really have liked the rear door as well, so I don't have to step out into the street to grab the mail, it is really convenient and safe. Overall, I am very happy with this mailbox and I hope that it holds up over the years.

The mailbox easily assembles. All of the parts were there, but the front nib of the mailbox is smaller than the rear one. This causes the front door of the mailbox NOT to remain in the closed position.I took the mailbox apart. switched doors, but again, the front door of the mailbox does not remain closed. The rear is fine, as is the newspaper flap. When a manufacturer is trying to use friction instead of a latch to keep a moving part from moving, the tolerences must be tighter than what we have here.

I am so happy that I purchased this mailbox. It is pleasant to look at and is very sturdy. My husband is 95% blind and he is able to go out and find the mailbox. With it's easy access to the mail with the extra door in the back of the box, he is able to retrieve the mail without having to step out into the street to open the mailbox door.
