Some of the regular medications that my family uses are available through Walgreens Club at a better price than my employer/insurance prescription plan.

Worthless. Got it because it should have saved me some money but of course even thought my rx is on there, it is only for a certain milligrams. How many people actually take the lowest dose out there? It sucks, it was a waste of money.

Our prescription plan changed on our current insurance. The Wallgreen's Pharmacy Family Plan makes our prescription prices affordable. We don't know what we would do without it!

One of our pets must take an expensive medication daily for the rest of his life. By using Walgreen's prescription club card, we saved more than the [$] annual fee with our first purchase of his medication.

My prescription plan through my employer has a high copay. So basically it doesn't pay for much if any of my maintenance drugs. The value of the Walgreen's plan and what it's saved me on just the 2 prescriptions I have gotten so far has already paid for itself.

This program will be a better deal after I have my next appt with my doctors; even though I have 3plus refills on many of my Rx. In addition, the plan is not available for 4 dollar coverage for a 30 day supply like other local pharmacies.I like using Walgreen's pharmacy because I can keep a records of all Rx and request refills online. In addition, there is always a Walgreens in the neighborhood.

It's inexpensive and you save tons of money on prescriptions! I love it because you also save some money on prescription drugs that are not on the 90 day list. Great value!

we were able to shop another pharmacy and recieved a better price even with the membership. We have been finding this so often that I beleive it's a major part of our healthcare system core problems. I understand we can all charge what we want for products but when you find pricing for insurance covered clients being 100% to 500% more, it goes to the core of the problem. We all should pay a fair market value, insured or not.

I went to fill a 90 day prescription. The script calls for 1 1/2 tablets a day.... They only allow 1 tablet a day, so I had to pay extra. I will cancel this card. PLUS, you have to go into the store to cancel.

I registered and paid our family membership fee of [$]on-line. I was also made to pay it again upon picking up prescriptions in the store. So, now i have paid [$] for our family prescription plan and don't know how to get reimbursed for 1/2 of that.Sincerely,V Schaer

Saving 10 percent on all WG brand purchases is great. It can sometimes beat your insurance price for prescriptions - but you have to track it on per item basis since they use either one or the other. Work with your pharmacy and they WILL do it and save you $$. The low cost per card is no object.

Great program, use it for medications as well as buying lots of walgreens over the counter/everyday products and getting the refund added to the card. Don't like waiting 48 hrs(weekeday-weekends are longer) to add receipt to card online.

Trying to use the plan is much more trouble than it is worth, especially considering I can go elsewhere, not have to pay for a plan and still have the savings. I have stayed with Walgreens due to the access of the store and pharmacist and the convenience of 24 hours. After the disappointment of this plan, along with the recent poor treatment of a family member and myself I am strongly considering moving all my meds. Note to management; anyone that works in a pharmacy should have the ability to calculate simple mathmatical equations, i.e.addition, subtraction, mutiplcation and division.

Here is part of the advertisement for Walgreen's Prescription Savings Club - "Whether you have insurance coverage or not, Walgreens Prescription Savings Club may provide significant savings on medications for you and your family. " Well I was told at my local Walgreens, Abbeville, LA, that if I used my Prescription Savings Card they could not then file it with my insurance company. I had to decide which one to use. Guess I'm out [$] Live and learn.

Helps reduce the cost of meds insurance does not cover but there are a few meds not included for the generic price that I can get else where.

We've been enrolled in the Family Discount Card for way over a year, and when it was time to renew it, two months went by without a new activation. Then when we figured out what was going on we renewed it again, but it took two weeks to receive our new cards. After receiving our new cards and trying to use them, we were told they were not activated. Someone slipped up big time and it almost cost us our discount. Email reminders before time lapse were never received. We were very disappointed to say the least.

I like the concept and I love Walgreens, but it is disconcerting to find that if you take a drug more that once/day, the cost goes up. I am trying to stay w/my friends at Walgreens but I am tempted to check out another major retailer due to the fact that money is indeed tight these days.
