I love these sheets. Wonderful cotton feel. I ironed the pillowcases and top hem and they look great. We have a new mattress and yet the bottom sheet does not fit tight over it like old sheets used to but it doesn't matter. If that's what you want, they are worth a try to see if you get a tight fit. Top sheet is nice and long to tuck in and cases are generous in size.

i purchased a full size bottom fitted sheet, Wamsutta 360 thread count. The elastic is terrible. These sheets are not cheap to purchase and the elastic is the cheapest. I had to resew all new elastic around the sheet. DO NOT BUY THIS

I ordered a twin long, a hard to find size, and it came very quickly. The sheet feels like plastic with an inexpensive elastic sewn all around the hem. It is a seldom used bed so I will keep it but won't order any more.

I didn't read the description closely and these didn't fit my mattress. The Twin XL say they fit mattresses up to 15", but that isn't true. Our mattresses (split king) are 14" and these didn't fit well at all. I would not have bought them had I noticed the 15" description, because that would be cutting it too close. And it was...the fitted sheet was a very tight fit & started creeping up at the corners after laying on it. I'm very bummed, because I did like the feel of the sheets. It's hard to find crisp sheets anymore. I got them after another reviewer wrote that she doesn't like soft sheets & wants to crawl into crisp sheets at the end of the day & these fit the bill. I guess I was so excited about that that I completely missed the dimensions! ;) BB&B has a wonderful return policy, though, so I was only out the shipping costs. Oh well. :( This review is based on the fit and feel after washing the sheets. I always wash new stuff before use. I lowered the rating due to the fit not being true to the description. The TWIN XL description should say 12 or 13 inches, not 15.

I have owned these for about 6 months. I searched and searched for good old fashioned cool and crisp sheets. I have no interest in sheets so soft they wad up on the bed.I don't know how many times I have crawled into the bed and thought, " I love these sheets."These sheets remind me of some of the great feeling linens I have slept on in very nice hotels.

I was horrified to discover the bottom sheet elastics just dissolved after one washing. The stitching was poor and the elastic was not covered at all, just sort of tacked to the sheet. Compared to other bottom sheets, these are just cheaply made and terrible quality. My ancient sheets are better than this! I did call Wamsutta or Spring Global who bought them last year. They were vaguely dismissive and said just take them back to Bed Bath and Beyond. They didn't seem to care that the quality was terrible and were not at all apologetic. I used to love wamsutta, but I won't buy from a company that puts profits above a job well done. Or for that matter, that would take decent jobs away from Americans and pay slave wages in Asia for terrible work. These sheets used to be made in the US but now are farmed out to cheap labor in Pakistan. Clearly they think cheap trumps well made. Don't buy these sheets!

I can't believe BBandB would even consider selling these sheets. Purchased a tempur-pedic bed and it was being delivered within 4 days so needed x-long twins and a king and had to purchase pinpt wht XLTB and king. barcodes 8576986384/8576986418. After washing they were still like sleeping on noisey paper. Hate them and they don't fit twins properly and come loose from mattress etc. The worst is the feel and noise. Not soft and didn't improve after washing and softening. Waste of my money.

Just bought two more sets of these sheets. They are the best. Cool and crisp feel. I don't like all the new smooth sheets. These are like sheets used to be.

We bought these sheets because we need twin XL sheets for the bases of our adjustable beds and king for the tops. The fitted bottom sheets are made so cheaply that they barely fit around the mattress, even though the mattresses aren't really deep/thick. When you adjust the bed, they pop off pretty easily. I've never seen sheets with seams like this before and will never buy them again.I'm not sure what crisp sheets are supposed to feel like, but these sheets are as rough as a cat's tongue. I have loofah's that don't exfoliate as well as these and I even iron my sheets.

I like a crisp sheet but have trouble finding one that is also soft on the skin. The sample on display felt to the touch of my hand and forearm like it was just what I wanted. Once I got them home I was sorry I spent the money. Even after laundering they felt rough on my skin which aggravated me every time I got under the covers. These sheets are going in the pile of things to take to the thrift store.

As described, these sheets have a crisp finish. When I can, I dry them on the line outside and they come in smelling fresh and feel smooth. These are not your flabby, brushed finish sateen that become almost a flannel consistency as they are washed. They are smooth, crisp and get a bit softer, but not flabby like sateen, as they are used. I have 4 sets and use nothing else.

I opened these and when I pulled them out they didn't feel anything like cotton. Like others said, very scratchy and rough. But what really drew my attention was the very strong smell of nylon and It was not from the plastic sleeve. It seriously smelled like I just bought a tent.I thought Wamsuttta was a good name. I will never buy again.

i was having trouble finding bottom fitted sheets for my california king mattress sold separately, not as part of a set. and trying to get by with regular king bottom fitted sheets on my cali mattress was driving me crazy! then i found these sheets shopping online, all because i had a 20% off coupon in my inbox from bbb! so i ordered one to try it. i was a little hesitant because of the bad reviews i read, but i did it anyway. and am i ever glad i did!! this sheet is perfect, a great fit, a great value for the money, especially with the discount and free shipping. the color choices are ok, but i do wish there was more variety, i am so happy with the first one, i am about to order my second with another coupon!

I am appalled that Wamsutta would even put their name on these sheets. They are rough, noisy and don't fit all that well. I have a hosp. bed so I buy 2 extra long twin fitted, one king flat and std. and king pillowcases. Came to $140. If I had paid $10 for this it would have been too much. We have slept on these for 2 nights so they are not returnable. I sleep in a silk gown and it sticks to the sheets.....STICKS.....can you believe that? Horrible, horrible sheets. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

When I removed this sheet from its package, it didn't feel like the sample material on display at the BB+B store, which was soft cotton. I thought the stiffness might have been sizing so I washed it, but it came out even worse--texture is a bit like a crumpled paper bag. I'd be surprised if the fabric content was correctly labeled. Also, the seams are very crude. I'll be returning these.

I purchased a flat ivory sheet to match the sheets I already had. I expect open-stock pieces (as opposed to a sheet set) to be high-quality--and have been highly satisfied with previously purchased pillowcases and a fitted sheet. I'm very disappointed with this sheet. It is stiff and scratchy, not at all soft like the pillowcases I bought at BB&B a year or so ago (I don't remember what brand those were). Furthermore, the ivory is almost a beige color--it's much darker than my existing ivory sheets. If I hadn't been desperate, I would have returned this. I hoped it would get softer after washing, but no such luck.

I am so disappointed in these Wamsutta 360 count sheets. They are extremely scratchy even after three washings, not comfortable at all. The elastic on the fitted sheet is so flimsy it doesn't keep the sheet on the bed and you have to re-make it every time. The size is generous enough to fit a small pillow top, and if the elastic was what it should be they would stay on the bed. I purchased a queen fitted and king flat. The king flat is very generous in length and width. The standard pillow cases are also a generous size. However, since these sheets are such poor quality I don't enjoy using them. Also, they come out of the dryer pretty wrinkled, so if that will bother you, you don't want these. I agree w/ another reviewer that BB&B shouldn't even carry such an inferior product. I'm thinking of contacting Wamsutta directly since on the product card it states, "The Wamsutta Commitment, devoted to exceptional quality and timeless luxury since 1846" I'd have to disagree in reference to these particular sheets. Don't waste your money. I would have given the rating a minus I could have.

I thought with the threadcount these would be nice... but they were so incredibly scratchy I couldn't sleep! I then bought the higher threadcount sateen by Wamsutta.... Don't bother. They don't last any longer than the reviews for this one.

I bought these sheets and they did not last six month before they got a holes in the bottom sheets. I have never had sheets that got holes in them before so I was shocked. I read all the reviews on this brand and by the comments it sound like all of Wamsutta sheet are crummy so why does BBB still sell them. Shame on you for allowing these sheets to be sold in your stores!! This is what cheap chinese product get you!

I have always used Wamsutta sheets- for over 20 years and I bought these because they were a little rough at first. We like that, but I have had these sheets less than a year and the fitted sheet ripped. Absolutely ridiculous that a sheet set does not last longer than that. I ended up buying Ralph Lauren sheets somewhere else. There is no sense in a sheet not lasting longer than 8 months.
