Not too impressed with these bottles. They aren't horrible but I do not like the nipple flow at all. As a mother to a premature baby, flpw is important to me and even the 0+ nipples seem way too fast for my little one. I am constantly taking the bottles out of her mouth because she is choking.

I have heard so many stories that these bottles leak, but that has not been the case for us. The only time the bottles will leak is if you don't put in the ring or dont tighten the cap. My baby has not experienced colic or gas while using these bottles.

i got these at my babyshower for my first child. when i first started to use them i noticed no matter how tight i put the rings on they always leaked. and the nipples allow SO much air in to baby's tummy.

I use these bottles only occasionally because I'm breastfeeding. They have been great so far and easy to use. The one important thing is that there is a small ring that goes just between the bottle and the nipple. Make sure you have those before attempting to feed because they will leak all over. You've got to pay special attention to make sure you don't lose those because you can't really use the bottle without it. We haven't lost any and it hasn't been too much an issue because we rarely use the bottles. With the ring they seal extremely well!

I thought i would buy these avent bottles and give them a try to see if they are good or not since I do use playtex drop ins and similac simply smart as well. The avent bottles are easy to clean, read, and doesn't leak but when I watch my son who is one month old drink from it, it takes forever to finish the formula and the nipple seems bulky. I feel that he doesn't get a good latch on it like the drop ins nipples. Also i am sure the nipple flow or size i use for himnis appropriate for his age. I have tried newborn nipples, the 1-3 months nipples, and the three + months nipples. The newborn nipples is just too slow, the 1-3 months nipples are still slow, and the 3+ months nipples are just too fast and he is just gulping them with some formula Dripping from his mouth. I have a hard time using them although i want them to be a good use.

These bottles can be frustrating if you don't put them together right. My husband figured it out after many frustrating feedings where milk constantly leaked out. If you put the lid on the bottle (just sit it on top -aligned) then turn the top (nipple and ring assembled of course) counter clockwise - it will fall down on the rim very snugly and then tighten it clockwise all the way. No leaks ever! Best bottle for the diaper bag!! Hands down.

These bottles are really great. Our daughter was born 1 month early and had some feeding issues that kept her in the NICU for 10 days. I was worried about switching her from the disposable nipples that they had in the hospital to our bottles at home. I had purchases the new Avent Natural Nipple bottles but she had a hard time with them. So I tried a sample of the regular Avent bottle that I received at a Maternity store. Voila! She took to it like a charm. It's the perfect flow and she seriously hardly swallows any air. We can rarely get a burp out of her but she doesn't spit up either so we are impressed that the bottles seem to keep the air out of her tummy. We used playtex nursers with my son and he was always spitting up. Wish we knew about these then. Of course all babies are different. OH and btw they NEVER leak EVER. So anyone saying that have a bad batch or aren't using the ring insert.

The 4 oz. bottles are perfect for my 10 month old. I'm currently breast/bottle feeding and the transition has been seamless. The bottles & nipples do not warp during feedings like Medela bottles. No leaking either. Love love love! Too bad these bottles can't attach to my Medela pump.
