Orange Whip Swing Trainer

The Orange Whip Swing Trainer is the ultimate golf swing trainer and fitness tool for today's golfer and athlete. It is versatile, dynamic and the most effective swing aid on the market. Consistent use of the Orange Whip will improve your golf swing and provide an essential core-muscle workout. The elegant design combines a counter-weighting system and flexible shaft that work together to promote the natural golf swing motion unique to each individual. The Orange Whip will help you find your ideal swing plane, create "tour pro" lag, achieve perfect sequence of motion and promote balance that's supported from the ground up. Your strength, flexibility, and swing speed will increase, and your shot-making will become more accurate and consistent.

Orange Whip Trainer: Large

The Trainer is the longest version and most demanding of skill, we recommend the user to be above 5’ 6”. As ability increases, height of user becomes less important, but strength and athletic ability are still important. The Trainer most resembles the motion one feels when swinging a driver. The Trainer will provide the most improvement to range of motion and flexibility, due to the length. The extra length also encourages more patience in the transition to avoid the “quick” swings and the common “over the top” swing. The proper transition leads to the development of Lag. The Trainer will most emphasize a free flowing swing(Ernie Els like) by developing Tempo and Balance. This occurs because the user must wait longer for the momentum to gather. A potential drawback to the Trainer is that it may be difficult to swing for less skilled or shorter golfers. Also, the Trainer is the longest version, therefore most difficult to swing indoors and in confined spaces.

Orange Whip Golden: Medium

The Golden is the most manageable Orange Whip for those new to the game or having less developed skills. Yet, many of the top tour players have chosen the Golden because they feel swinging it more resembles their iron play. If a husband and wife are looking to share a model, the Golden is a great choice because you still get the swing development and the work-out benefits. A faster paced swing may require the use of the Golden, because it is shorter and has less flex in the shaft, therefore it is capable of making the quicker transition. Another benefit to the Golden is that it is shorter and easier to swing in confined spaces like the garage or inside the home, if space permits.

Orange Whip Hickory: Small

The Hickory was designed for Junior golfers aged approximately 7 - 12, or those golfers below 5 feet tall. The Hickory has a lighter orange ball and counterweight and the shaft is more flexible, for its length. The grip is smaller to accommodate the hands of the junior golfer. Although the Hickory was designed for Juniors, any golfer may use it to work on their short game. Because of the diminutive nature of the Hickory, it most resembles the wedge and can be used to work on wedge swings, the chipping motion, or the tempo of your putting stroke. Also, the Hickory is the easiest to swing indoors; but with caution.

I have been useing this for about 3 weeks and it does what it is suppose to do. Great warm up tool also. I like how it keeps you in balance, the feeling of creating lag and it will let you know if you over swing.

Love it, I've been using it for a few weeks now and see a big difference. I seem to have much better balance and hitting the ball longer. I read about it in a Stan Utley's book , The Art Of The Swing. He recommends it and so do I.

The Orange Whip is a good training aid. It also helps you loosen up before those first swings. After you swing it a few times, your driver feels light and easy to swing.

I was looking for a swing trainer that would help me to develop my tempo and flexibility. After much consideration I decided to go for the Orange Whip (Large) and I'm very happy with the purchase. It is well built and is an overall high quality swing trainer. I have mistakenly struck the ground several times while swinging it, and while the orange ball has suffered a few scuffs, no major damage was done to my Orange Whip or the floor.I really like the way that the Orange Whip helps me to feel the tempo of a good swing with proper extension (in both my back-swing and follow through) stretching my muscles and developing flexibility in the process. With the use of a mirror, I have also been able to consider my swing plane as I practice indoors. As my balance and control of the whip improved I learned to increase my swing speed, while maintaining the tempo of the orange ball. By promoting extension I also find that this trainer is well suited as a warm up tool for that i can use to stretch out with and feel my swing on the days when i don't have a chance to hit any balls before i play.Overall I'm extremely happy with the Orange Whip Swing Trainer and would recommend it for some one who wants to work on tempo, flexibility, balance and core strength. I've used other swing trainers before however this is by far the best trainer for what I wanted to work on. The Orange Whip won't teach you to swing, however it will help you to feel what a naturally flowing swing with proper extension feels like.

I took a chance on the Orange Whip Gold basically to loosen up and strengthen my left shoulder. My surgeon has offered to do a total joint replacement on me that has a fifteen year life span. My injury is also accompanied by severe arthritis. Because of these issues, I have a very short backswing. With the gold whip, I can see the orange ball out of the corner of my eye as it stretches me out for a full backswing. It's too early to tell if it's going to make me better. Golf is a game of the mind and seeing and feeling a full backswing may help me to hit it farther. We'll see.

Great warm up tool for courses without a driving range. The Orange Whip will keep your hands back when transitioning your body weight on the down swing which allows you to come from the inside. A must have in every amateurs golf bag.

I have tried a lot of different swing aids in my time. The Orange whip will get you swinging perfectly in a very small amount of time. Release, timing , balance, and weight shift will become second nature to you. Get a pro to help you with your grip and your aim. Let the whip do the rest.

I picked up the Orange Whip 3 weeks ago. After only a few sessions my swing has improved. It really helped with releasing the club, I could feel the muscles in my forearms being challenged! Probably the best benefit is helping with a balanced swing. This thing has so much angular momentum when you swing it that it's going to knock you off balance if you don't keep your self centered. Your swing will become more centered, balanced, and powerful. I highly recommend the Orange Whip.

This is great for learning how to speed up your swing and also to feel where your wrists hinge through. I also like to swing mine before I tee off if I am unable to hit range balls to warm up.

Shot an 86 yesterday after hovering in the 93-102 range for the past couple years. Bought the Orange Whip about a month ago after it was referenced in a golf book I was reading. At the time I purchased it I had some reservation because of the price and the strange look of it, I was thinking how could this help. I basically bought it off the recommendation of the book I was reading by Stan Utley, "The Art of the swing: Short Game Swing Sequencing Secrets That Will Improve Your Total Game in 30 Days". Now I say this is the end all, be all trainer. Before the Orange Whip I had hundreds of swing thoughts and they changed round to round, front nine to back nine and swing to swing sometimes. After using the Orange Whip all I focus on is balance and rhythm, that's all, it's that simple. Can't say enough good things. I didn't grow up playing golf. I'm in my late 30's and didn't pick up a club until I was 20, I finally know what a "real" golf swing feels like. I highly recommend. (I love it so much I just sent an email to the company saying Thank You)
