  I would recommend looking elsewhere for a blood pressure monitor. The results this gives are horribly inaccurate.On a more positive note, the interface is pretty dummy-proof. I was able to get it up and running and figure everything out without looking at the manual once.

  This devise only reads BP if you have a pulse of 35 or more. My pulse is mostly less, therefore no BP reading. The one I had before would give me a BP readding but an ERR for BP. This one give nothing!

  This is the best BP monitor that I have owned. if you need accuracy, this is the one for you. This could be priced twice it's value. Easy to use, cuff fits comfortably and sized for most family members. Even the Walgreens employee that handled the sales counter stated that this what she used and was precisely accurate in BP readings. I have 25 years experience in dealing with relatives with hypertension and stroke. The Omron is now a mainstay of our familys protection against hypertension. Thanks.

  I just bought an Omron Series 5 today at Walgreens. Although the upper reading was reasonalby accurate and consistant, the lower reading was grossly incorrect (low) by about 20 mmHg. I'll be returning it.

  On my physician's advice (the better to monitor the effects of a hypertension medication) I bought this blood pressure monitor. It looks very good, had decent instructions, seems fool-proof ... but the numbers it comes up with were just plain wrong.So I went to have a nurse read my BP, then immediately used the device. It read 20 points higher than she did. That's too far out of whack to be of any use at all. There's no way to recalibrate it, either, so it is going back. Thank goodness Walgreens will accept a return at a store, rather than having me mail it back at my expense.I would enter no stars, but the site required one to be entered.

  Performs as advertised. I have used it daily for over 2 years. The only problem I have is that I need to replace the Cuff. Cuff size is important. Be sure to read the instructions on how to properly locate the detector on the arm
