I really like this treadmill, it is a smooth run and the buttons are large and easy to read. The only problem I have is that it doesn't display your pace.

I bought this treadmill on May 9th. My husband put it together the next day. After using my treadmill for a week the display began to freeze, the speed and incline would not work once it was engaged - leaving me in a very dangerous situation - (I had to pull the emergency release to get it to stop) and the display began to beep repeatedly. Tried to get a hold of Nordic Track only to find out the are closed until June 4. Don't waste your money on this treadmill.

I would definitely recommend this treadmill for someone who is serious about running. This treadmill also has an iFit live feature. When you purchase the Ifit live module and membership, you get a personal trainer, and a personalized plan for you. It was definitely worth the investment for me. It's a very durable machine and all the gadgets on it are quite "advanced".

We took our time and did alot of homework on treadmills. Shopped the internet and the local sporting goods stores. I can save you about 2 weeks here. This is basically the same treadmill that I bought about 10 years ago. It has been greatly updated and modernized without the price getting stupid. Actually this newer model cost about $200 less. Please read the directions first. The directions say 2 adults, they are not kidding. I got the box in the house ok but it takes 2 adults! This machine, like the earlier model, is built to last. It is not the cheap stuff that is imported. A cheap lightly built treadmill is a waste of money. If your going to actually use it be sure and read the weight capacity. Always "over buy" on capacity by at least 75 lbs or more. OK; putting it together, WOW, very detailed, take your time. It took us about 45 minutes to finish assembly. The only thing that was tuff was plugging in the connector to the console. There is no extra slack to work with. I simply unscrewed the factory wire holder to allow some slack. I think NordicTrack should give 1 or 2 more inches here, but certainly no problem. The "box" type holders on each side are very handy for light items like TV remote, hand exercise devices etc. Possibly a small water bottle, I never really got that though. Water around electricity is risky to say the least. We simply don't do it. The tread floor is very large and very easy to move around on. This machine is very quiet & comfortable. Like the cushioned floor. Wear good supportive shoes! The electronics are awesome. Listen I looked at $2500+ machines, don't waste your money. I looked at $500 machines, they are made in China=junk. I also bought the 5 year in house warranty. I usually don't purchase extended warranties but this seemed logical. 5 years at about $50ish per year and they fix it right here or replace it. I'm in. I used my last Nordic Track for years. I kept it clean and sold it for almost what I paid for it. I am never selling this 1. We both love it ! Remember made in the USA still means alot!

the machines is very good, my wife love it. but the problem that I found was,.
After I run for two day, I always get a back pain. but when I go to the gim and run for two days or more days, every things is fine.
so think the problems is because it have only two springs, and it don't support my weght. (180 pounds). and my wife is only 110 pounds
so, I am going to try to change for one that have 4 springs.

I Bought this treadmill in mid November 2011 after reading various reviews. It was working great for awhile, very quite, smooth and simple to use. Then after about 7 weeks I noticed that the running mat slipped/jolted a little for a few seconds, then it was fine. About a week later I was using it and it started making mild banging sounds. After stopping and restarting a few times I continued but the noise was still there and the walking belt seemed unsteady. It then stopped working. I lifted the walking platform and looked in a small opening to the left (from below) and could see that the drive belt had shredded completely. I called for warranty service and the belt was backordered. I got it about two weeks after calling. I then called the service technician (a subcontractor) who asked if the belt had slipped/shifted at all during use and I said yes. He said that this model has a front roller that is press fitted into a plasitic fitting and it it must have come loose and needs to be replaced. He said he would order one. Thus I am again waiting for a part and the fix.
Other comment: The display is quite bright and distracting in low light, where I have my treadmill. The adjustable contrast level does not affect the display's brightness, only the darkness of the information displayed.

I was looking at the C900 and C900 pro to begin with. I had a chance to fire up and look at those as well as a T7.0 at a local Sears. The T7.0 was as quiet or quieter and didn't pop and creak like the C900s did. I went ahead and bought it and have been using the T7.0 for a little over a week. I'm 6;1" 230 lbs. I wanted to start with a TM I could walk on mostly and then step up to some light jogging. I think this TM is perfect for that so far. I'm not sure if it would stand up to a serious runner, but for the walking & jogging types, this TM works great. The motor seems to be strong enough, the panel is large and easy to read and the controls are intuitive. Supposedly the TM is compatible with a wireless heart rate monitor, but I haven't researched that fully yet.
Sears delivered and assembled it and I couldn't be happier with their service.
Overall, I'm very, very pleased with this TM. If you are someone looking to get back into shape or maintain a moderate level of fitness, I'd definitely recommend you check this TM out.

This treadmill is more than I expected for the cost. It has a fan, heartrate monitor, incline up to 12%, ipod docking with speakers, many workout programs and iFit capabilities. My only wish is that the instruction manual better explained the features. I highly recommend this treadmill.

Great treadmill, excellent spring/cushioning, great 1-touch speed and incline controls. The only complaint i have is the "iFit Live" module. No one @ Sears mentioned this part has to be purchased seperately. The part costs $100 and there's a monthly subscription to use it. Without the module, you can't download maps and you can't download your own workouts. These were two of the main reasons i purchased this treadmill.

I have only owned this treadmill for a week now. I did a 10K run the first time I was on it and it performed well. We will see how it holds up in coming months and I will update the review later.
One note about assembly is make sure you connect the FRAME GROUND properly in step1 and also make use of the extra and newer spec screws instead of original screws for attaching the left side of frame to the bottom part. The original screws did not fit right when connecting the left side of frame to the bottom part.

I bought this from Sears after seeing the Shock Absorbers and getting impressed with the options. One week later, the fan stopped working. Called Sears and they wanted to get the NordicTrack to fix it. I refused and demanded that they replace it and that I don't want to go through a repair process on a new treadmill that is one to two weeks old.
Sears came and exchanged the console from another machine in a box. One week later the fan on this also broke.
I am waiting for Nordic Track to come and fix this one.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK!

It is very heavey and sturdy and took over an hour to put together but the directions were very clear. The platform has a nice feel to it and I am glad I went with this model over the one below it without the springs in it so it's easier on the legs and back. The motor is average as far as loudness and it doesn't sound like it's straining at all. The speaker systems is much better than I expected for such a small device. The fan was another thing that sold me on this unit but it is very noisy in an annoying way. However the music and the motor help to drown it out. I can't say too much about the programs at this point because I haven't learned how to use them yet as there are no instructions that came with it on how to use the console at all. This was very disappointing. So I am assuming that I will have to go on-line to fine a manual or user guide of some sort.

I received my treadmill today and the delivery guys setup it up for me. I couldn't wait to get started working out. The console, the belt, the sound is absolutely wonderful. I previously owned a Proform and the sound was terrible and the console kept burning out. Tje quality of my Nordic Track is great. When I plug in my IPOD the sound is clear with no scratches. Great buy!

Pros: Long belt, incline and speed buttons, cushioning, mp3 audio jack & speakers, easy assembly, display does not use batteries (like other treadmills), looks great, good price (I got mine with a 10% discount for $720 + tax).
Cons: It would be nice if they had left a space somewhere in the middle of the console for placing your IPhone/IPod where it would not block any of the console buttons. The shocks make a bit of a squeaking noise when running.
It would also be great if they made these truly IPhone/IPod compatible with Pause/Next/Previous controls on the console.

This is my first treadmill and I love it. I've used many at gyms or my old apartment complex so kind of knew what I wanted. I didn't buy the most expensive one out there but it was not the most cheapest either. I didn't want to buy something I'd get bored with and not use but also didn't want to over do it and buy something that had too many features that I would never use. To me this is a good starter treadmil.
I like that you can control the incline and speed at the touch of a button. It is a bit springy but I have not found that a problem with my running. Gives me a good spring in my step. :) The ipod speakers are good, just plug them in with the cord and you can adjust the volume from the console. Fan is okay, has that new smell but I am sure that will fade in time. I haven't tried the iFit feature as yet. To me, that was not the selling point but may use it in the future. I wish the outlet cord as a little longer. They say not to use an extension cord or GFCI outlet. I was able to get mine to plug into the regular outlet, though. I would say this is a good starter treadmill with a few good features thrown in. I like it so far.. and yes, I have been using it regularly. It will not become an expensive item to drape clothes over. ;)

This machine is not top of the line, but is great. We tried some of the quad flex units and it felt like we were jumping on a trampoline, not walking on a treadmill. iFit Live is a must have. Well worth the extra money.

Delivery men came to set up and install. Would not even turn on, said unit had faulty "motherboard" and they would need to order another one and would call when it came in. Told us that they had had multiple problems with this part on this model recently. Expected us to wait another week for repair! Needless to say, it was returned and we will not be reordering.

Useful, easy to set up, it took me mostly and then a little help at the end for support, but otherwise, I was able to do most of the job alone. So great! Love this for the great time I have exercising on it.

The Sears rep told us it would easily take under and hour to set up and that is not true. I work in the trades and this took considerably longer to put together. After powering up, we noticed that the display isn't working properly, so now we are going to see how the warranty process will be.

Very good treadmill, only recommendation, make the louvers for the fan adjustable. If you use the middle of the belt, the fan will not blow on you. I use a floor fan.

i bought mine in a box and had to put it together. some parts were tougher than others to align and tighten, however when i was through with it i placed it where it will be most of the time and took a little walk on it. everything worked perfectly and it looks very good, even better than the picture.

The treadmill itself is great, but putting it together was not fun. The package come with screws for different steps, but the pre-drilled holes did not fit with the provided screws very often. The bad part was that the screw metal was not hard enough to screw all of the way in without stripping the head. It took a short stubby screw driver, all of my weight, and a few blisters to get them in enough to hold. My hands were killing me at the end! I had to get creative with a few of the steps and use other screws. I suppose I could have gotten a drill bit out, but was not sure of the damage I would cause. However, after getting it together, I love how smooth the treadmill is and am thrilled that it feels substantial enough to make me confident in using it as I need to lose about 70 lbs. It's quiet and the fanned air hits you just right! The shocks are knee approved. I named it Sven and hope to have a long lasting relationship with it.....lol (glad my husband isn't jealous)

This is the first time I have purchase a NEW treadmill and was excited about the purchase. I picked the treadmill up at Sears, set it up, and tried it out. It made noises and didn't seem to run well. The second time... IT DIDN"T WORK AT ALL!!! GRRRR! Frustrated is an understatement! Since I purchased the warranty SEARS will come repair it, but I want a treadmill that doesn't have to be fixed on the second day!!

I was going to go with a $400-500 treadmill but I thought to invest a little more and go with this model considering it has a commercial grade motor and overall represents a good value at the time of the sale (pre-Christmas eve). It was worth the $700...and lastly the delivery service went excellent! The guys had it all done and set up in 40 mins!
