Editorial Reviews

The popular Logo series about the lives and loves of four gay African-American men gets the feature-film treatment with this road movie that finds longtime friends Noah, Alex, Ricky, and Chance traveling to Martha's Vineyard with their significant others for a weekend wedding retreat. Aspiring Los Angeles screenwriter Noah (Darryl Stephens) and his partner, Wade (Jensen Atwood), are about to be married in an intimate Martha's Vineyard ceremony, and to celebrate in style Noah has invited Alex (Rodney Chester), Ricky (Christian Vincent), and Chance (Douglas Spearman) to join the couple on a cross-country road trip from California to Massachusetts. However, the trip is far from the relaxing getaway that Noah had hoped for, because along the way secrets are revealed, hearts are bruised, and friendships are put to the ultimate test. Not only are Chance and Eddie beginning to feel the urge to scratch their seven-year itch, but playboy Ricky has a secret that's sure to rock everyone's world, and the appearance of a surprise visitor quickly threatens to overshadow the main event. Add a closeted rapper and a high-maintenance studio executive into the mix, and you've got the recipe for an endearing romantic comedy that's as poignant as it is hilarious. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi All Movie Guide

I loved the series and have both in my DVD library. I did not buy the characters in this movie to be the characters in the series. The story seemed thrown together out of obligation to the fans, however, it totally missed the mark. Alex's character wasn't even funny and he really was the glue. The only good thing about the movie, is that we find out how each character's story is resolved. You just have to get through two hours of pain to get there.

Love the TV show, love the movie. I was wondering how they were going to turn a simple "getting married" plot into a whole movie, but they did and the twists and turns are fun.

As a fan of the TV show which was so rudely cancelled after two seasons, this movie is a great companion to those seasons. The film picks up right where the series left off with the impending wedding of lead character Noah and his handsome boyfriend Wade. All of the principle characters from the series return, along with one or two others who may or may not mesh well withthe crew. All in all, this was a very well put together film. It was nice to see the gay African-American male version of Sex and The City together again.

I had planned to order this movie thru iTunes, but the day it was released it wasn't in the iTunes store! I was freaking out because I was having a release party that Saturday for the viewing of the movie. All the other sites were out and wouldn't receive another shipment until 2 to 3 weeks later! But the skies opened and Barnes and Noble had them and could get it to me within 2 days!!!!!! Indeed it did, came just in time, me and my friends enjoyed the movie very much! Thanks Barnes and Noble!
