I love the size - not too heavy and fits right in my purse. The video is extremely crisp and very vivid! Have already recommended to friends.

I bought a Nexus 7 to fill the gap between laptop and phone for casual Internet use around the house. It's exceeded my expectations in most aspects. It's blazing fast, which is a huge plus, and I find myself using it more than I expected to for checking the weather and the news, keeping up with email and social networks, and quite a bit of browsing and even playing a few games. It's now my go to device for those tasks, when before I might have pulled out my laptop, or checked my phone and put up with the lag.

The only trade-off for the super convenient form-factor, which I like better than my wife's iPad is that for general web browsing, most sites are too small to comfortably read without zooming in a bit on each page. For me, this is a price I'm willing to pay but if form-factor isn't a major factor in your decision, a large device may be a bit less work.

I'm definitely satisfied with my choice.

Coming from Ios;Android is certainly a change, but it didnt cause any difficulties. Android is pretty easy to use and understand. It has it's weird issues like getting very slow and not wanting to scroll fast on a webpage. There is also the occasional screen weirdness that will flash a black bar on the bottom, but other than that the device feels very well made, and is a joy to use.

Have the store personnel set-up your tablet and get you hooked-up online with email.
    Overall a good bargain.

I can finally leave my laptop home. I use this device for entertainment only i.e videos, music, surfing the net and some social networking. The storage capacity is perfect for me. Thank you Google.I would also like to add the people at Staples were very helpful with me in deciding which tablet I would like to own.

I bought this pad so I can load VFR and IFR charts for in flight situational awareness. I'm using Naviator for $75/year subscription and I'm going to try out Seattle Avionics IFR charts shortly (another $75/year).

As far as I can tell, this pad does the same stuff as iPad but at a lot lower price point.

Really like my product. Use it for church. Downloaded several Bibles. Should have gone with the 10" screen. Will find other apps that I like. Pain searching for the best apps. Really like the text to speech feature; When my eyes tire of reading, I use the speech feature and listen to the Bible.

It does almost anything, then unlock and root, and do everything! Great battery life when considering what you are using it for, and if doing the basics per Google/Asus battery times, it meets or beats what they say.

The worst thing I can say about this device is that the screen gets covered with fingerprints and has to be cleaned pretty much constantly. A Zagg screen cover will take care of that instantly, plus the Zagg will knock down some reflective glare from other lights a notch. I don't watch Netflix or other media because of the screen size (prefer the larger screen on my iPad 3). Otherwise, this is an excellent device. Lighter than iPads to carry, Android OS is awesome, syncs with everything, so it's a great companion to my Android phone. I use it for casual web browsing and pretty much everything else. Rarely use the iPad around the house anymore.

I purchased this device for my wife. She wanted an IPAD Mini. After researching other tablets; I found this to be less expensive and a better value. The sales rep really encouraged me to get the 32GB version vs the 8Gigs because of the limited expandability on many tablets. I'm glad that we made that choice. My wife took a little time learning the Android System, but she seems to be warming up to it and is now enjoying her Nexus7 device. I also have an Android so its cool to be able to have access to some of the same apps.

The tablet performs flawlessly as a reader and game machine and movie player. It streams very well and gets a great wifi connection. My daughter is completly entertained when traveling the blue tooth is great with wireless headphones. I have the asus transformner 32 gig and it is every bit as good in performance and battery life. The lack of an SD card is disapointing but sideloading movies and streaming using my phones wifi connection is a good substitute to not having the SD card.

I had been reviewing tablets for some time before making the purchase. The Nexus is very responsive. I do some mild games on it so I can't speak to performance there. However I've seen many reviews that discuss that at length. Video playback is spot on, Skype works very well & the picture was better than that streamed by a Macbook Pro. The 7" form factor is comfortable & battery life has allowed me to watch one & a half seasons of Walking Dead streamed, as well as played some strategy game for several hours before the battery started getting low. Construction feels solid. For this form factor I would count it at the top, & for the price it's hard to beat.

We bought this tablet for our 6 year old daughter for Christmas. The only trouble we had was converted digital videos to MP4 format to be able to watch on her tablet.

The Nexus 7 by Asus is an amazing tablet for
anyone's needs but photography. It is great for fast internet,
gaming, and convenience. I use it everyday, for gaming and movies.
It comes with Ice Age, and Planet Earth Ep.1 for free. It is
lightning fast, latest Android OS, and portable size. It comes with
Google's version of Sir I for iOS, and you ask it something,
sometimes with its own results and with all Google results. Great
for its size and price. I love it more than my phone even. It is
great and I recommend it to all.

The Nexus 7 is the best 7inch tablet available, if not the best overall tablet available. Love mine and bought this one for my wife.

Great tablet running the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. User interface is terrific, and the hardware construction is first class. Screen resolution is amazing, and definitely more crisp than Apple iPad Mini. Very fast CPU, fluid motion to graphics, and screen customizing is a breeze. Overall, this is a fantastic tablet, and I would highly recommend it!
