Looks like it would be perfect for a little boy. And it probably would be if it worked. We were able to get it to turn on for about 15 minutes then it died and never turned back on. While it was on we couldn't get anywhere from the main menu. As soon as we would select one of the four menu options the screan would go black for a second and the main menu would be there still when it came back on. I'm going to send it back to the company and see what happens.

My mother bought this for my 4-year-old's birthday. It doesn't work. It came on and displays the main menu fine. I even downloaded songs to it from my computer, but when you go to the music section it displays "Empty Disk." Of course when you plug it back into your computer, it shows everything still there. It is total junk. I went to the website suggested for help only to find it is under construction for 2 weeks. The support email address was listed, but I haven't received anything back from the message sent, not even an automated message.
