Actually "squeaks" when left button is depressed. I have not investigated the cause?

I use a piece of software the utilizes pushing the center wheel of the mouse to activate it. The wheel is so sensitive the program is forever popping up but it is easily shut off so I live with this minor inconvenience.
    Great value for the price

Great Mouse. It's the second time I buy the very same model, I use one for my PC and another for my laptop. It's highly recommended!

When it comes to mice I have always trusted Microsoft and they really did out did themselves on this mouse. The plastic doesn't feel cheap and the mouse has a decent weight to it that makes it feel very durable. The blue laser works on almost every surface that I have used, including a mouse pad.

I had been looking for a mouse that would track over glossy surfaces, and read about Microsoft's BlueTrack technology. Even though Microsoft is quick to say it won't track over glass and glossy surfaces, they are too modest. I've used the 3500 on ALL types of glossy surfaces, and it performed perfectly; without a hitch. The tranceiver is so small it's not a hassle or danger to leave it in a USB port permanently, and the mouse itself is not too big or too small (like many wireless mice). It did not come with a travel pouch to keep it from getting damaged in a backpack or laptop bag, but other than that, honestly, I can't find anything else to complain about. A wonderful product.

I just received the Microsoft mouse, which was on sale. I love it! It installed easily on Windows 7. What I mostly like about it is that it seems to work well on a variety of surfaces, even uneven surface. It does what a mouse is suppoed to do.

I bought this mouse awhile back to use on my gateway laptop and I've never had a problem with the mouse. Its a great size, smooth roller wheel, buttons work very well. My favorite feature is that there is an on / off switch on the bottom of the unit to help save battery life. The nano reciever is excellent, it stores in the bottom of the mouse, push a litle button and the reciever pops out. Also, it gets excelent range, out of curiosity one day I tested how far away I could before it would stop responding, and the furthest I got was about 20 to 25 feet away.. I cant think of a scenario where that'd be useful, but its still handy if you need that.

I purchased this mouse as a replacement for a Logitech thinking it would be a good replacement - wrong. In the less than 30 days I have had it, I have had to replace the battery twice and today I am returning it. I went to remove the program from my XP system and it didn't even give me an option for removing. I called MS and they too had difficulty removing and wanted to send me a different model as a replacement (so I have to wonder if there is some issue with this 3500 they aren't telling). I would strongly recommend that if you are considering a wireless mouse, look at the Logitech models - the one I used to have lasted for several years and I think they're more into mfg hardware and refinements and reliability for such as these.

I bought this mouse and it lasted only a month before it crashed on me. Very disappointed in what I thought was a good product from an established company like Microsoft. Save your money on this one, I went back to using Logitech wireless mouse and no problems.

I replaced a logitech mouse with this Microsoft unit. The logitech ate up batteries, and the off/on switch was very touchy - if not set precisely, the mouse kept turning off. The off/on switch on this Microsoft mouse is superior, it stays put. My only gripe about this mouse is the size. It's smaller than a standard mouse, and for my simple games, not as easy to handle. For everything else, it's fine.

The mouse is so cheap and it looks great at the first glance. Nice design, comfortable, with bluetrack technology it works even in glass! But the battery life is extremely short! The initial duracel battery lasted only 2 weeks and now I try to remember to switch it off every time I don't use it. I wish it had an automatic system to switch off by itself. At the box it says "up to 8 month" battery life which is not true for sure.

I bought this because i needed to have a GOOD back up for when my bluetooth Magic TrackPad becomes "not wurking as designed" because Apple did not design the case well... good looking? yes but never at the cost of function... hahaha... my little Apple dig! This mouse has great tracking ability and comfortable to use... pretty good with my fine tuning in Photoshop also... the sale price made it a no brainer and i highly recommend to anyone... back up or not... namaste

I bought this mouse to replace a different brand I like how it clicks and that it will work on surfaces a lot of wireless mice won't.
