This really does not have anything special. And most of what is inside is bandages!! You might as well buy these things in pharmacy and it will be way cheaper!

This first aid kit is hardly useful. It has one or two tiny little one-time-use packages of antibacterial ointment, burn cream, insect bite cream, and then a TON of random wipes that aren't even alcohol wipes. They just seem to be for wiping off blood or dirt, but not actually disinfecting anything. It is pretty much a big box full of bandaids, stickers, and little wipes. If you are looking for neosporin, alcohol wipes, thermometer, etc, you'll have to buy them separately.

Can be a challenge to open. I returned the product, disappointed by the cheap products (the "doctor's bag" seems more valuable than the products within) [...]

I love this product. I actually read the reviews before buying it and I was shocked at what some people said. I have the MediBuddy to go kit already and I loved that so much that I just had to buy the MediBag for the house. Yeah, it doesn't have as much items in it as the American Cross Kit but it comes with instructions on how to get 45 more items FREE. So, basically you get alot for the money. I also added some cool packs in there. Oh, and to open the bag is not hard. You hold the handles (one in each hand) and PULL apart. It's kid friendly and we love it!

Good kit for the price. Like the included offer for a refill kit. Easy to store.

The product itself is fine. I should have read the details better though. As first aid kit I would like few more small units of ointments and adehesive tape for eventual needs. I bought this to keep it in the car, in case of need when we are out and about with the kids. I'm probably getting complementary antiseptic and ointments at the pharmacy...

We are expecting our first baby any day now, so I ordered this after seeing it offered (and receiving good reviews) on all the online baby store sites. I wish I would have known that a good portion of the "pieces" in the 117 piece set included some cheap stickers, and the case itself! The rest are mostly filler like cleansing wipes and band aids. You only get ONE (yes, one) of each of the useful things such as burn cream, hydrocortisone cream, and sting relief. You are better off just compiling your own first aid kid by purchasing items from the drug store. The reviews and descriptions I read made this seem like it was a must have for parents with small children. In reality, I've seen these same items in any standard first aid kit (and those had more of the useful items). One other minor thing... the product picture makes this look as if you get two separate cases. It is actually just one case

I have one at my in laws and I like how there was everything like the burn cream and all the other first aid kid doesn't have that. You have to buy that separate. Even the Ice pack was great to have. I guess it was perfect for my kids and my in laws since they are like accident prone and there was always something in the bag instead of waiting for someone to go to the store and coming back with what they needed.

I think it can be better, but after searching for that "perfect" first aid kit and not finding any, I think this is as good as it's going to get. I added a few things to the bag to make it fit my baby's needs. I think people should assess the content of the bag and think about adding other meds or quantities, etc.
