The New 800P features library-quiet, thermal printing which means no ribbons are needed! It's compact, clean and provides an amazingly crisp time registration.
Lathem's patent-pending Tru-Align feature provides visual and audio alignment indication and automatically triggers an imprint when a time card is properlyinserted. This ensures that the imprint only occurs within the boundaries of the card's print cell for legible and easy to read attendance records.

I spent a good amount of time reading all the reviews about various time machines. This one seemed to be the best fit for our dairy farm. It works perfect for our 5 employees who until we got the time clock penciled in their hours. I figure this clock paid for itself in a month and now we have much needed accountablility. Everyone adapted to it and it is so easy to use. When it arrived my husband took it out of the box, hung it on the wall and turned it on. I think its the only plug and play technology item I have ever purchased! The time cards are a little pricey as some reviews stated, but its a small price to pay for the efficiency and accuracy in our payroll.

My company uses this time clock for about 25 employees. The fact that it keeps time if power goes out is wonderful! When we plugged it in for the first time, it was already set to the correct day and time and it even knew that it was during daylight savings time.

We have approximately 12 employees and it is set up in a "shop" atmosphere. Non of the guys had any complaints about using it or how to use it. So far so good, happy with it and we have had it a couple months

Really like this time clock. It's was effortless to set up and hang up. Only thing that bothered me is we went from a time card that lasts for a month to only one week. Our company is small so this is not costly to me. But for a larger company it might make a difference in buying the time cards.

I bought this for my 13 employee office. I kept it in a location that suited the requirments listed in instructions. It died 6 months after the one year warrienty. I looked the manual up online and it only says if not powering up check battery, plugged in, and power to outlet. I did all of those and nothing has worked. The external battery says to be replaced after 7 years. Mine did not make it past 1 yr and 6 months with only 13 employees and this is suposed to handle unlimited. Don't waste your money if you expect to use it longer then year or two.

The instruction booklet shows how to enter the month, day and year. This model does not have the Date feature only the day of the week and time. Also, you can not write on the time cards or you are chancing to malfunction the clock. Too delicate for our warehouse.

Well built unit but is quite large. Cards are hard to line up for in and out stamps.
