The addition of windows people and the flowers really makes this a worthwhile purchase, although I must admit that I waited until it was on sale. My kids (ages 3.5 and 2) really enjoy playing with this. All in all a good buy.

Bought this for our 15 month old and she not only loved it, but as it was mentioned could participate in cleanup. Wish more sets came with the buckets...which turned out to be good hats/ hiding places for little girls ))) As for the set- colorful, durable, interesting even for a little toddler, variety of pieces is very good- people, windows that open/ close, flowers, fence, car chassis. Yes, would definitely recommend this.

My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this set. The bricks and figures are just right for her little hands. The pieces are easy to connect, and require just enough patience and dexterity for growth and development. She is never bored with the set and the endless things she can create. She adores the various figures, building plate, and all the bricks, and plays with the set every day. At first, she didn't want to ever take apart her creations, but has learned that part of the fun of Lego is taking it apart and making new things. The pieces are colorful, durable, and could not be better. The large container makes clean-up a snap--she can do it herself!! The bucket holds all the pieces, with room for the Duplo Post Office set and more. The perfect toy!! Her 7 month old brother has his eye on it, and I'm certain he will love it too. Money well spent!!

i bought this for my two year old. Of all the toys she got, this is the only toy that after she opened it, she cant stop playing with. Normally If I give her a new toy, she will get tired of it and then see the new toy laying around the house as a mess. But this Lego, she hold it take it with her everywhere. There's a reason why it's been around for a long time. She have so many things/shapes/structures she can build/create. She also identify her colors when putting the Lego together. Very helpful on mental development and fun for parents too. ;)

Our 20 mo. old grandson immediately sat down and started playing with the Duplos--stacking and arranging them to his satisfaction--along with his 2 older brothers! Great toy!
