I am taking a sewing class, and bought this bag to carry my machine to and from class.
The bag has a stiff bottom insert, so it supports the machine nicely. However, it has no padding or cushioning. There is extra room in the main compartment, and I usually pack it with some sort of pad so it doesn't slide around. The front pocket is big enough for a foot-pedal and a few other supplies. The bag has hand-carry handles, but no shoulder strap. After carrying it to my class once, I decided that I needed something on wheels. I am using a rolling suitcase, but if you had a wheeled cart, you could put the bag in it.
I think the bag will be most useful for storage. I did not find it useful for transportation.

I enjoy the tote bag for it's ease of use. The machine fits nicely inside the bag and I store the foot pedal and cords in the outside zippered pocket. I use the tote at home when my grandchildren are present to keep little fingers from playing with my machine. This is also an excellent machine tote for classes or on a trip. You could use the outside pocket as project or supply storage and put the pedal and cords in with the machine.

The Tote bag is very well constructed and light weight. It appears durable for the long haul. The zipper opens all the way to the bottom on both sides making it easy to load and unpack the machine. Machine fits inside nicely. The side pocket is roomy for sewing accessories like scissors and thread. Great for traveling. Got one for me and one for my daughter. We are both happy with the bag.

so much easier to carry the machine in this than using the hard cover that comes with the machine. the hard cover is fine for keeping dust off while its set up on the sewing table but this is so much better to take to classes .
