In furnishing our tiny winter-getaway apartment, two years ago we bought a 24" range (not at Sears) which after 1 month we simply returned. Pure junk. This year we found the ideal range, and though it was hard to find in any Sears retail store, we did by one at a Sears outlet. Practical, well-designed, even has a drawer (our 'junker' didn't!) which really ought to be part of an appliance used in small, storage-space-deprived living quarters. Works like a charm; we expect it do so for many years.

I shopped the big box stores and came back to Sears. Best price and selection.

We bought this to replace an older 24in Kenmore. This one has very nice features, the digital clock and timer are a great feature and the range looks very nice in my kitchen. My only concern is that the Oven interior is smaller than my previous Kenmore and my full size cookie sheets barely fit. Other than that great product!!

I bought this for our garage apartment and so we would have a second oven for events like Thanksgiving. The oven cooks evenly and the range is well made and attractive.

We love our Kenmore range. It is simple to use, without all those fancy gagets that are so confusing to use sometimes. It was a pleasure to shop for at Sears, the salespeople were wonderful and the delivery went perfect. We have had our Kenmore for about 10 months now and haven't had a lick of trouble. I especially love the built-in timer-it, it is a breeze to use and has a beeper that is easily heard from the other room. So, if your wish is to have a basic range/oven without all the doo-dads, and that is wonderfully reliable then this is the one for you!

After seeing the remodel changes the recipient of the stove planned for his place, I realized I needed to get his range in Stainless Steel finish. Also, my friend mentioned his preference was a sealed burner range once he decided on where and when to get one. The price difference was huge for a 24" model, so I ordered another product in a different brand. The one I got was a 30" size, so I sent this one back and adjusted the cabinet above it and ordered a micro-hood instead of a 24" ductless hood. Crazy what a color change causes. Why does the finish have to make such a huge difference in price?

After considerable research purchased this range to replace a 20"-40+year old Kenmore model (could no longer buy parts). Have used the unit two months and am very pleased with the purchase. Appreciate the extra room between burners, rear controls, ease of use and appearance. Only concern is that the bottom storage drawer could be closer (tighter) to oven door. One can see slightly into the drawer when standing above the range.

When I first got this oven, there was a horrible smell when I used it (the oven part). I called sears and they told me that all ovens smell when you first use it, that some residue has to burn off. I tried that - left all the windows open, and couldn't even stay home it was so bad. Not wanting to be charged a restocking/return fee, finally I had my father look at it, and he found the foam insulation was touching a part of the oven, that you can't see unless you take the range off. It was black (white originally) and burnt. He cut it down, and it's better, but still smells if I put it up to around 400. Today one of the range indicator lights is staying on, even though the range it off. It's less than a year and a half old. I'm not very pleased with this oven, it cooks ok, but the quality is poor.
