Have had clamp a while but has not been used much, the washer in head which slides up and down to keep jaws parallel pops out even when only using moderate pressure

I use these to position and hold items on edges of a welding table, and also for wood working. They work very well and are plenty sturdy. Just a bit pricey for what they are.

I received two 36" clamps for Christmas. They came totally jammed together with no instruction on how to release them. You would think that there would at least be a small instruction sheet on how to clear the jam and operate the clamp safely. I am disappointed in what appears to be a good quality product. It just ain't user friendly.

Jorgensen makes great clamps, The ,36" cabinet masterbar clamp, is another Quality clamp. I bought two 36" clamps to go along with the two 24" clamps i already own. I'am not a cabinet maker so i do not use these clamps daily. but when I do use them I'am always impressed with the quality. one look at my clamp rack and it obvious that most of my clamp are jorgenson

I needed 4 48" clamps and agonized over the decision for about a month between the Jorgensen and the Bessy's. After many trips to my local home stores, the Jorgensen won out. I found it to be a much more sturdier clamp than the Bessy and I was unable to make it flex under load. I saw deflection in the bar when testing out the Bessy. Not with this one. I'm very happy with my choice.

This is a great clamp for keeping glue ups flat and square.

I was glueing and screwing down six 6" wide curly maple boards onto a bartop and the clamps did just what was asked of them. Held them tightly togeather and nothing moved.

They are heavy enough for the toughest clamping job. The heavy duty bar hardly flexes under a full load. They are pricey, but worth every penny.

I have some Bessey Revo clamps as well.I like these better. They are simplier to adjust. I have both the 24 inch and the 36 inch clamps. They work awesome. I have used them to glue hard woods together. I also used them to glue hardwood to plywood venner to make a table top.

I ordered (2) Jorgensen Cabinet Maker Bar Clamps as I was making a free standing stereo shelf unit. The unit measures 78" long x 33' highx 16" wide. The clamps were a necessity in holding the 3/4" birch plywood boards together while I fastened them. I would certainly recommend them to anyone doing various types of woodworking.

I bought 2 jorgensen 36 in bar clamps and they work pretty good. They have a lot of pressure and the handels are very comfortable to use. The only problem that I have had with these clamps is when the 2 heads are tight against each other the quick realease handle jams up sometimes and it can be annoying but it doesnt happen very often.

I could not imagine using any other bar clamp for furniture making. The clamp has large pads for extra surface contact and the slides and locking mechanism work amazingly smoothly. The large size of the 48â is very helpful for large products. They are extremely strong, operator friendly, and I think well worth the price (you get what you pay for). I currently have two 48â clamps but plan on expanding my collection to other sizes and more 48â clamps.Doug
