Crank handle clutch release allows release of the line without spinning the crank handle. Lightweight ABS impact-resistant case increases durability. Twisted cotton line holds more chalk for multiple line strikes. Holds approx. 2 oz. of chalk. Includes a 4 oz. red chalk refill.

This is a really great set up for those wanting to put markings down for either a layout or for making long cuts across large amounts of surface area. This chalk line is easy to use and fits great in the palm of your hand. The chalk also doesn't bunch up so the line comes out smooth each and every time. The thing to remember is that red chalk is permanent. Unlike the blue chalk which can be wiped away, the red chalk will leave its mark which makes it ideal for outdoor work or in areas of high foot traffic. This is a great addition to the toolbox.
