I like to apply this powder in a similar fashion to a mineral foundation by using a kabuki style brush. The powder puff deposited more color to my skin than I desire, especially in a powder that is not quite custom matched to my skin color. Instead I like to build up to a more natural finish by applying the powder with a brush over the Iman concealer; this creates a subtle but powerful combo. When used this way the concealer hid my large pores and blemishes and the blotting powder created a finish that is both light in touch and full coverage in function. I was impressed by the shine control. I have very oily skin that requires blotting several times a day. This powder cut down the amount of blotting by half! I will be sticking with this product for awhile and may try the Iman mineral powder later on. I was a fan of Iman years ago when her product was sold at JCP but the formulas were too heavy back then. This product line seems lighter so far and I'm really happy that it is now available at Target which is much closer to home. Thanks Target and Iman!

I bought the light/medium and it was too dark. I would like to try a lighter color, but this is the lightest color Target carries. I am not sure if the product comes in a lighter shade, but it should because 4 shades can't possibly work for all the different skin shades that exist.

I REALLY LOVE HER MAKE-UP PRODUCTS! they really enhance a woman's face naturally and blends really well with any skin type.... Referring back to the previous review, I did my research before I bought this product and learned what shade matches my body. I bought a Earth #7 foundation and used this Blotting Powder over my foundation for an added glamorous look.
