Hank Haney PlaneFinder-Right Hand

The Hank Haney PlaneFinder is for golfers who want to improve their swing. The concept of swinging the golf club on the proper plane was first articulated by Ben Hogan in his classic 1957 instructional book, "Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf." Years later, legendary teacher Hank Haney has made swinging on plane the cornerstone of his work with Tour players and high handicappers alike. And now, along with inventor Rusty Pies, Haney has created the PlaneFinder, a unique and innovative device that provides immediate feedback if the club deviates from the proper plane on both the backswing and downswing.

Tour players and golf instructors alike know that swinging on the proper plane is the key to effortless power, laser-like accuracy and, most of all, consistency. Golfers can improve all of those aspects in very short order as their swing plane improves. Not only can they use the PlaneFinder during practice sessions at the range but at home as well. And, the PlaneFinder works equally well with every club in the golfer's bag, from lob wedge to driver.

"The beauty of the PlaneFinder is that you find out immediately what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong," said Hank Haney. "And then by making subtle adjustments to the swing, every golfer can quickly discover their proper plane and how to remain on it." There's a big difference between 'feel' and 'real' and the Plane Finder never lies.

It's the next best thing to having a personal lesson with Hank Haney! The PlaneFinder is available in both a right-handed and left-handed model. The PlaneFinder is portable, lightweight, and can be used anywhere-the home, office or at the range and will groove and improve your swing right away.

I was skeptical at first but had read about this on the internet and decided to buy and I love it. I noticed a real difference in my swing and tempo. Its great for practice in the yard with some wiffle balls. Highly recommend it!!!

This training aid does nothing to correct swing plane. It may help correct your swing path though. You can see that it is possible to swing through the indicators with an absolutely verical swing plane as long as your path is straight. The instructional DVD is very very weak and is little more than a replay of the infomercial. I expected more from the DVD. My finder had two gates that would not turn without sanding the post down a little. I have had it longer than 30 days and have modified it so I can't return it. So let's see, doesn't work and poorly made as well as overpriced. Don't make my mistake. SAVE YOUYR MONEY!

The Planefinder that I purchased from a local Golfsmith was almost not worth using. One of the outside swing indicators would not line up with the other one. I believe this was due to the fabric between which was VERY tight and glued uneven. In addition, I am almost in shock that the construction is this suspect considering the $120 price. In essence, this product is very flemsy and unless the swing indicators will line up, it is almost not woth using for an advanced application. I have been researching construction of a plane board and when I saw this, I didn't think that I would need a plane board anylonger. Looks like I am back to the drawing board.

Just a few swings I got immediate feedback on my my swing plane already. Worked on it for several days and my shots are getting very straight, and I have confidence to hit balls hard too so my distance increases. With this, you can be sure that you will have the correct plane - one important variable is fixed in the swing. Then you just need to work on club face and lean angle at impact. Very useful and effective - better than expensive video lessons.
