So, I was just walking through the mall a few weeks ago and decided that I would stop into my local Gamestop, because hey, I'm a gamer and I just can't resist. I'm walking through the store thinking about anything I might need for a weekend of gaming or anything like that and I walk by the Xbox 360 controllers and notice that the Gamestop controller is on sale. I looked at it and it seemed like it was a very sleek design and thought it might be very comfortable. It was even five dollars cheaper than usual on this day and I decided "What the hey?!" So, I purchased the controller and took it home. I immediately grabbed a knife and cut it out of the packaging carefully so as not to damage the controller or cut anything other than the plastic. I immediately grasped the controller in my hand firmly and began pushing the buttons to get a feel for the controller. Oh man, was I impressed. I loved the triggers. They responded so well, but still had a firm feel to them. The controller was slightly smaller than a standard Xbox controller, which was a plus in my book. I looked at how to hook it up. The plug was a USB plug and so I plugged it into my Xbox 360 and started thinking to myself "Yeah, it's game time." Yet...The controller never synced with the Xbox. I tried using the sync buttons to see if there was some kind of trick. Nothing. I grabbed the little miniature instruction booklet that came with it. Nothing. I tried other USB ports. Nothing. I tried looking for support online. Nothing. I decided I would come back to it with a fresh head. So, here I am a few weeks later and I have the same results. Am I still impressed with the controller? Definitely not. I would definitely advise gamers to choose another controller.
