Fisher-Price was founded by Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle in 1930 and has since become one of the most trusted names in the baby toy and baby gear industry. Fisher, Price and Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to establish a high-quality toy company that debuted 16 wooden toys at the International Toy Fair in New York City. Since then, generations of children have grown up playing with Fisher-Price's award winning baby toys and using Fisher-Price's award winning baby gear.
Currently, Fisher-Price is the umbrella brand over all of Mattel's infant and preschool lines. In 1969, at the age of 71, Herman Fisher retired as President of Fisher-Price and the company was purchased by The Quaker Oats Company. In 1991 it became an independent, publicly traded company and in 1993 Fisher-Price became a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel. The Fisher-Price line of baby gear includes play yards, baby bouncers and baby swings.

We were worried about transitioning the baby from our room into her room and crib. We were shopping for something that was soothing, but would also keep her interested as we helped her to fall asleep. The projections are adorable. I find myself staring at the with her. It looks great on the crib and was easy to secure. It would fit on any crib. The remote has been helpful to restart the projection once it fades.

My baby is 2 months old and my mom wanted to buy her a little gift. I had been wanting to get her something for her crib. We looked at the customer reviews(so helpful when people post their honest opinions!) and the comments, along with an informational video helped to make our decision. The woman's singing voice is perfect(not annoying) and there are 2 pictures per song(colorful bold images). When the page is turned(terrific for my daughter to grow into)the song automatically changes. The remote is very handy to restart if it times out & don't want baby to see you(will restart last settings only). I love the options-- you can just play just music, you can just have the night light on and/or play the projection. It comes with AA batteries that you will need to change to 4 C batteries to experience all the functions correctly. Very easy to install. I agree with another poster-- I would definitely purchase this as a shower gift for a new mom. Very well designed and well worth the $$$.

Definitely a great product! Soothes our baby right to sleep.. He also gets a kick out of it during the day. Batteries last a long time. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because it randomly turns on at night and literally scares the heck out of me. I feel like it is haunted but baby is happy so I'm happy too! Just creeped out..

I bough this to go in my child's crib. He loves to watch the projections on his ceiling as he falls asleep. I loved the idea of it "reading" the stories to him and singing and all that it did. Within 1 week of having it home it started to flicker and stopped working correctly. The lights would flicker on and off and the music would skip like a record with a scratch (if anyone else remembers what those even are LOL). I changed the batteries and that did not resolve the problem (yes I double checked that the batteries were put in correctly) and even changed them again thinking there could be an issue with the ones I put in and it just did not work. I will be taking this back to see what else there is.

I've been using this projector since my daughter was 2 months old. She was immediately drawn to the ceiling and fell asleep to the changing pictures almost every night. When she turned 6 months she would start babbling at the pictures instead of being soothed, but no worries because there is a switch to simply allow her to listen to the music solely instead. Now she likes to sit up and turn the pages on her own. My husband and I couldn't go anywhere without this product and I know it sounds like a crutch for bedtime but seriously worth it when it put my baby to sleep in a matter of minutes. The projector also stays on for a while (10 minutes I believe) which is a major plus in getting a baby to relax or go to sleep. The colors are so vivid it made me and my husband want to lay on the carpet and stare up at the ceiling along with our baby. It's definitely worth the price.

It inmediately captures our baby's attention and helps her going to sleep by herself. Great tool!

We got this for our 8 month old and we LOVE it! We use it at bed time every night. The projection is the best I have seen in any toy and the music is soft and soothing. I will say we really only use it at bed time, it's not much to "play" with during the day, just some page turning. Super easy to install on the crib.

I bought this for my 7 month old and so far she loves it. It was easy to install on the crib, has good sound quality with two volumes and the image is amazing - very bright, clear and vivid colors. My daughter is mesmerized by it whenever it's on. The nightlight is so-so, it's located on the top and because the soother goes on the top of the crib it doesn't light up very much. The remote works well. There are two images per story that alternate, the music is sung by a woman who has a nice, soft voice so it's not annoying. Once the song of the story is over the music is relaxing along with the images. The box says 20min of music but I think that's when you select the "music only" option. I have both music and the projector on and it only plays for 10min. I haven't tried the music only option yet.

This combines my 2 month old daughters favorite things wonderfully. 1. The ceiling 2. Anything that glows or lights up 3. Music 4. Mommy can sing or read to it. The benefits for parents are it goes for 12-20 minutes and uses a remote control to play so I don't immediately have to jump out of bed to turn it on. I do wish it played longer.... I have other soothers that go for 45 minutes or an hour.
