Based on the great reviews I purchased this lash curler. It came with an extra rubber replacement pad so that was nice. However I used it like I have used every lash curler I have purchased in the past and Kevyn's gave me terrible results. It basically crimped my lashes at the base and made them stick straight up. Maybe each person varies in their lash "curlability" but this did nothing for me. I have since tried Shiseido's and it works great and it comes with an replacement pad too.

You will be amazed at how well this curler works. NO pinching. No question, my search for a good eyelash curler is over.

Tried this one based on reviews, but definitely going back to Shisedo.. I have long lashes and need one to 'crimp' a little more to get the curl. This one provides very little bend to my lashes.

I've been curling my lashes since 1996. I've never bought a curler over $7 but I decided to take a chance with this one. It doesn't have a spring in the middle like the ones I normally get but i don't think the spring is really necessary because this curls your lashes in one or two grips. It's very easy and comfortable to use and it's worth the $20 dollars!

This lash curler is great in that it consistently produces soft, curved, fluttery lashes instead of lashes that are crimped or stick straight up. It doesn't consistently get all of my lashes though, with some not grabbed along the edges of the eyes. It's better when I lift up the eyelid and make sure that I get as many lashes in the curler as possible. Usually, my straight Asian lashes require 4-5 pumps to get the best curved lashes.

This is the 2nd one I have bought. The first one lasted me nearly 7 years. I bought other brands and they were useless. I finally bought this one again. It is well worth the price. My daughter still has hers but will be buying another one, just in case we can't find it later. Highly recommended...

i've used a revlon one for years and it works okay but this one hits it out of the park! after my revlon one died, i bought an array of curlers to try and this one was my winner! my lashes stay curled all day long without me having to curl it again midday. the opening is also nice and big, unlike some other high-end brands which have tiny openings, barely enough to slip in your lashes and that can get frustrating. money well spent!

Very similar to Shu Uemura curler if not exactly like it.No pinching, perfect shape. Way better curlers than from Chanel, Shiseido, Le Metier de Beaute, and so on.

This curler is very similar to Shu Uemura! It gives a great curl and there aren't any crimps at all! The Shieseido curler is great too, especially for those who have a flat eye shape. This curler better for a more rounded eye! It works best for me! Thank you Nordstrom for bringing this brand!

Prior to this, I was using Shue Uemura & lost it. Replaced it with Revlon since I didn't want to fork over extra cash. Revlon "expired", decided to try this. It's SOO worth extra $. Curls stay and last all day-def give it a try, it won't disappoint.

To be honest this curler is really similar to shu uemura, except smoother (however my shu curler is really really old). I also have the Shiseido one, which is much flatter. I am Asian and I thought the Shiseido one would fit my flat eye contour much better but I'm wrong! Definitely prefer Kevyn Aucoin over Shiseido.

I have always struggled with using eyelash curlers because I would inevitably pinch my eyelids until now. I don't have to be really careful how I come into my eye or how I lay the midsection on my cheek. I find that I don't hover now over my lashes and try to look into the curler to see if I'm going to pinch. I uses to close my curlers together very slowly too so that I could feel the curls start to pinch and then back-off but now I curl with reckless abandon. I have tried cheap and expensive curlers and $20 for something that should last for some time I think it is some of the best money I have ever spent!

I've used Shu Uemura for years and intended on buying that brand, but I didn't see it available so I purchased this instead. I like it. It is a good quality curler and I find it comparable to my previous curler. There is no replacement pad included.

very easy to use, no pinching when used correctly. nice cushion so you don't get that sharp angle, just a nice curve to the lashes.

I have purchased many, many curlers in the past and this one curls lashes and is very lightweight. I cannot accomplish curling my bottoms - I do have very deep set eyes and this could be the reason but who needs their bottom lashes curled anyway?

This is the best eyelash curler I have ever used and I love it! This curler has worked on my lashes, getting them all in without crimping them weird or pullling on the corners. This is my favorite beauty product and am so happy Nordstrom is carry them.

This is my 2nd curler...my first one lasted at least 5 years. The only reason I replaced it was that it was worn out!!! My new one just came in and I am so excited about it...used it right away and am so pleased that I didn't decide on a different one. Hope it will last as the previous one did. Nice having a refill filler...maybe I'll get 10 yrs with this one!

I've been a "beauty girl" for a long time, and used to be a make-up artist for top cosmetic companies (LancĂ´me, Guerlain, Yves St. Laurent). This eye-lash curler pinches and has an opening that is too large. There are better brands out there, including Tarte. I don't see the benefit of the red rubber liner -- it really does not serve as a guide for application up against the eye. Hope this was helpful.

I have tried many eyelash curlers in the past - from cheap to high end. This curler has earned a blue ribbon in the competition! My eyelashes have gotten short and sparse like most women over fifty have, and this curler manages to find them all. It doesn't pinch lids or bump into my browbone on the top or bottom of my eye like so many others do. I curl my lashes (without mascara) for about 30 seconds, then do it again halfway to the tips for about 15 seconds. For even more "wow," I use a mascara base, let it dry, and curl them halfway again. I highly recommend this curler for short lashes with deeper set eyes. Yes, it opens wider than other curlers, but I can control the opening. The metal frame has been slightly changed from my last one I bought two years ago, but it still performs the same.

I have tried many high-end curlers: Shiseido, Shu Uemara, Bliss, Lancome and a few drugstore brands, Maybelline and Revlon---none of them works as well as this one. I have even tried heated curlers--they work, but what a pain...As an Asian woman, I have almond-shaped eyes and very straight thin lashes. If I don't curl my lashes my mascara smears beneath my eyes--looks ridiculous. This curler never pinches-never. It always catches the very corner lashes--something no other curler has ever done. I don't have to squeeze it hard or hold if closed for too long--yet it always works! I am going to get another to keep in my gym bag.

This one's great. I was using the famous Shu Umera eyelash curler before, but it kept on pinching the middle of my eyelash. No such problem with this one and it curls even better. I need to hold it for only a few seconds and get pretty curly lashes afterwards.

I purchased this product to replace my Shu Uemura curler. I notice no difference between the two. However, I am disappointed in the Kevyn Aucoin curler's packaging. I wish the curler and the replacement pad had been wrapped in plastic because when I pulled out the curler, the replacement pad fell right into my sink and I had to toss it. Although I appreciate minimal packaging in general, when a product needs to remain sanitary, such as when it is intended to be used near the eyes, a little extra protection would have been worth it.

After using this eyelash curler for 1 month I can say this is the best eyelash curler I've used. What makes it stand out is the rubber pad that protects your lashes. Other curlers that have soft foam pads don't protect your lashes from crimping when applying pressure. The stainless steel is very sturdy. This is a well made product!

I owned a Maybelline eyelash curler for many years. I could no longer purchase replacement pads. My SIL raved about this one, so I thought I would try it. Visually it looked similar to my old curler. However the performance is much different, much better. You can open this curler really wide, which helps you see and angle it exactly where you want it, so you can get all of your lashes without any pinching. It also requires less pressure and less hold time to acheive a nice curl. I hold longest at the base of the lashes, then two more short pumps working out toward the lash tips, and I'm all set.
