I bought these for hunting but wore them earlier this week in the field on a construction project. It was in the low 30's, I was active most of the time and was perfectly comfortable without bibs or coveralls. Pricey but I'm getting soft in my old age, to me, these were worth the cost.

I took three of these T2 underpants and T2 undershirts with me to a ski trip. They were super warm and super awesome at keeping me dry the entire time. There was on day where I forgot to put on my fleece second lining over the underpants and I didn't realize that all I had on were my snow pants and these underpants. Surprisingly, I wasn't cold for the ENTIRE day! The only con that I could find is that they seem bulky when packing them in a suitcase. Otherwise, they feel very light on your person.
These are not the compression shirt and pants, which is what I wanted, and they don't feel like they get in the way, hang too loose ore hang too tight either. I'll be using these for skiing for quite a long time. -

I work outdoors all day long for up to 12 hours a day. These are the perfect base layer for the cold days. Under a pair of jeans along with the long sleeve shirt they blow any traditional cotton long johns away. The wicking material feels great next to your skin and they stretch so they don't feel bulky like usual long underwear.

I use these mainly for casual wear during winter and they work great! I'm a waist 30 or 31 and I thought small would be too tight, but they fit well. They are also very lightweight and thin, but so far have provided great warmth. I've found that the material occasionally causes mild itchiness for me, but it's not a major concern.
I have not used these for any active sports. I'm a runner, but I don't like restrictive wear, so I wouldn't wear these for running. -

fits fine; comfortable to wear

The fit feels shorter all around, from bottom to top compared to Patagonia's equivalent, but it does hug the body better.

I bought these pants specifically for running outside. Rather than wear bulky sweatpants, these tights are pretty perfect even in some tougher running conditions. I wear these under athletic shorts when I run, but coupled with the matching top and a couple of upper body layers, gloves, and a hat, I have run outside in very windy, 10 degree Fahrenheit weather, and these tights have kept me pretty warm.

They fit good, not great. They're a little tight on the calves for me but not uncomfortably so (I'm 5'10", 150lbs, 30? length leg). They're definitaly warm, light and breathable. I wouldn't recommend them for lounging because they're not as comfoy as some of the microfleece tights. They're good for working tights -- hiking, being out in the cold for whatever reason, going out. But wouldn't be my first choice to stay warm inside, although I do wear them sometimes and it's fine.
They seem durable but who knows, I haven't had them long enough to be sure. I would recommend these as your general purpose, working outdoor tights. Theyre not my favorite thing I've purchased recently but I'm satisfied with them for sure. -

It is finally time to replace my 15+ year old Bergelene. I have bagged more peaks and traveled over hundreds of miles of trails with Bergelene next to my skin. It has never let me down. Sure, after wearing the same set for 10 days, it does getting a little rank, but that isn't going to kill you (it may get you some strange looks when you roll into town for a post hike beer though).
I was reluctant to try the Techwick since I had miserable results with every other brand of first layer that I tried.
I ordered a pair of lightweights for trail running and was very impressed. A nice, silky hand. They wick well, don't retain the odors (the longest I've worn the continually for is only 4 days, so I'll have to see how they smell after 2+ weeks).
True fit, hopefully they will hold up as well as my Bergelene did (the Berg bottoms have lost their elastic in the waist band, but the tops are still going strong). -

Like the material, better than the ones of a couple years ago. They are just right for extra warmth on construction sites.

Returning for full credit against my MasterCard account.Very disappointed. Two years ago I bought two pairs of Techwick 2 Midweight Tights (EMS stock number 442102782581) for chilly-weather construction work under my work-jeans, and they have been just great. For me the large size is a nice, snug fit (as "tights" are supposed to be), and they don't bag, bind, or ride up, and if the weather gets above 40 degrees they're actually too warm.On your Cyber-Monday sale I decided to get one more pair for this Winter. I was very disappointed to find that you've changed the fit and apparently the fabric also. Not what I expected. Not what I want. In addition to not fitting snugly, they seem to be ill-proportioned and don't feel good at all. (This was after only about 15 minutes of use.) Not at all like the older ones. Too bad. Shame on EMS for messing with a good thing.AND two years ago the sale price was [$]. Now it's [$] for a less-satisfactory product.

I work outdoors in a stop and go type of physical job. The EMS Underwear has NEVER let me down. I have a set of EMS underwear for over 2 years and never had an issue with them. This set (top and bottom) is no difference.
One thing, and this might be cause they're new is: I've noticed that the bottoms slip down a bit when I wear them and I have to kinda pull them up by the leg area a bit every so often. No biggy, and I assume that will stop because I've never had a problem with the older pair of tights I have. I can't remember if the older pair did that at first also. Still, wouldn't go to work when it's under 30 degrees without them!
