This product is out of sight. It is good for Sore gums, teeth infection, insects bites, scrapes and bruises. My wife turned me on to it. But word of caution: Make sure you add water to it. Don't be tough and hard headed like me and use it straight from the bottle. I did and nearly burned out my mouth. This is some powerful substance. I just don't understand why Walmart stopped having it in the store. Cause it sold like hot cakes. Thank goodness Walgreen's still carries it. It is worth the money and does a wonderful job.I have used the old fashion home remedy of warm water and salt for years, but this Dr. Tichoner's out beats them all. Just be careful how you use it.

My family has been using this since I was a little kid for insect bites, really stops the itch! Also works great to heal any thing in your mouth and just as an every day mouth wash.OK, any kind of itch? My Dad told me about using it on his roids years ago, yes there was / is a little wall climbing immediately following application, you can mix w / water if you want, I use it full strength and it WILL stop that itch when nothing else will!Never without a bottle @ my house.

This product is amazing for sunburns. No matter how bad the burn, the peppermint oil no only takes away the heat, but will make your skin cool after only a few applications. Another ingredient makes the pain go away. I have used this full strength on water blistered sunburns and my skin was pain free after only a few hours. Dr. Tichenor's is a sunburn cure!

I have been a user of this product for the past 10 years and when I say GREAT, I mean GREAT. It refreshes your breathe and kills germs instantly. I take the previous used bottle, add in one part mouthwash and 5 parts water...and there you have it a new bottle of mouthwash. It lasts a long time.Try it, you will not be disappointed. Guarantee it.

OK, Yankees [as in Northerner!] this is the REAL stuff, directly from the Bayou of New Orleans, Louisiana. If you're asearch for something that out performs Listerine, then this is the product for you and the family. But be warned: First off, when used as a mouth wash, Dr. T's, as we call it back home, must be diluted with 5 PARTS WATER due to its overpowering strength, it also turns a milky color after dilution - but don't let that scare Yawl!; Second.. it is a great remedy for insect and mosquito {LA it's: "mo-skeet"} bites -- just place Dr. T's on a cotton ball and place it DIRECTLY onto the bug bite, wait a few secs, and remove the cotton. The bite has miraculously "deflated", for true, Yawl - the affect on the skin is a cooling bit of a sting, but not in a bad way!! And third, but not least, be prepared that when you first open a bottle of Dr. T's, it's powerful peppermint fragrance will bring out any family members from other rooms in the house, asking you, "What's that smell?!" and not in a bad way either.I suggest you all buy up as much of this stuff as you can; it also scares the begone out of red ant bites and all other crawly offenders, especially during the summer. We Louisianians ought to know; during the mosquito infestation of the 50's & 60's especially, Dr. T's was as much a staple in the Bayou medicine cabinet as aspirin and band-aids! BTW.. I can't think of ANYthing that's not so great about Dr. T's!Take my word for it folks!!~Robin504~

I have been using Dr. Tichenor's for years. When I first discovered it, I used it for a soar throat that I couldn't get rid of and had immediate relief. I recommended it to a friend who used it for their soar throat and they couldn't believe how quickly they had relief also. I love it, in the morning it makes my breath feel fresher than all of the candy flavored garbage on the shelf.I have seen mouth sores go away almost immediately and relief of pain. I have had many a friend try it and love it as much as I do. My dental implant surgeon asked what I was using because my gums are so good and he said that he will be recommending it to all of his patients.I couldn't find it at Walgreen Drugs- Wolf and Kensington and have been looking for it all over. According to the above information they should have it on shelf there, so I will go back and ask again. I had bone implants in preperation for a couple of tooth implants and rinse my mouth frequently to prevent infection. I love the product, to me it is as important in my medicine cabinet as having aspirin and bandaids.

I use to work somewhere when a child bit another child, we would spray it on the child who was bitten, on the bite mark, gone in a flash, by the way, and also use a SMALL bit on our finger (after washing hands and all that jazz) and put it in the child's mouth who bit the other child. We refered to it as 'the yucky stuff' and the kids knew exactly what it was. They bite, get some Dr. Tichenors on their tounge or even lip and they usually won't do it again!

I keep a small spray bottle (about the size of a lipstic tube) with me always. If someone gets a sting/bite, it's almost an instant cure. I've sprayed it down many sore throats (full strength) Tastes shockingly awful, but a sore throat is better in about 5 minutes. Also use it for liniment and for nail problems. If I'm where I can't wash my hands, I use Dr. Tichenors spray on them. If I get around (too close) someone that is sick, I spray it in my throat after leaving them. I have recommended this product to many many people. I've not heard one complaint from any of them.

I first used this as an antibiotic for a sore toe and nail bed that has been troubling me for about 1 year. I've had prescriptions from the doctor that helped but nothing took away the soreness or pain. I could not stand for the cover to even touch it. After applying a few drops to the infected toe and two soakings of the toe, dilluting the water with Dr. Tichenors 99% of the soreness is gone in just 3 days. I thank God for this and for the person that gave me the bottle of Dr. Tichnors

I think anything placed on or near the mouth in the music business (or anywhere else) can benefit from Tichenor's. I've been using it on microphones to clean the mouthpieces. Believe me, mics can get really nasty, and now every show I take the windscreens off and clean them with Tichenor's. Strongest stuff I know of, and it leaves a very pleasant smell on the mic. I say use it on other instruments such as horns, harmonicas etc. to clean them especially when multiple people use them.

I have been in the medical profession all my life and have used this mouthwash for several different things. One was a little boy stung very badly at the beach by jellyfish, screaming in pain. I put some on his legs and he didn't cry anymore. We also put some ice on after the application of mouthwash and he didn't even have any welps or swelling. Dr. Tichenor's mouthwash also helps with mosquitoes and fire ant stings.I always carry it with me for first aid treatment. It also helps with sore throat and sores in the mouth. Just try it. It's hard to believe how good it works on so many things.

I used to live in Houston and stepped on a fire ant hill accidently. Before I knew it my calves were covered. My friend brought me this mouthwash (thought they were crazy)and I applied it to the stings and the pain vanished. The bites healed in about four days rather than 2 to 3 weeks, which is normal. Great stuff for insect bites and stings!
