my 3 year old played with it for a minute and gave up on it. she liked the music but there was no words.

Got it for my two and three year old for Christmas. The first day they had it, the lid broke off. The cds are hard to get in and out, and they play cheesy versions of the songs with no words. I've thrown the stupid thing away 6 times and still keep finding cds laying around.

This cd player was a piece of junk, i bought this for my 2 almost 3 yr old for xmas and it did not even make it through the day. when we got it i thought maybe it sounded bad because the batteries were almost dead but after putting in new batteries it still sounded terrible. i thought the songs would play words but they just play the instrumental oh well at least it wasnt expensive

My 4 year old daughter loves this toy. She got it 2 years ago and still plays with it off and on. It is very loud though and the music is very fast so if you get annoyed with your kids loud toys you might want to avoid this one. After I put some clear tape on the bottom to muffle the sound a bit it was much better.

This is a cute toy. My 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter loves it. Anyone that complains that the discs don't play songs should have read the packaging - it clearly shows that the discs play melodies, not songs. Had to give the toy a low star rating, however, because it produces noise at a decibel level that is much too high and may be damaging to children's hearing (I have found no specific test results, as far as this particular toy). This thing is incredibly loud and has no volume control settings.

this is one of my children's favorite toys! Yes, it plays only melodies (thank goodness!) and my lid has too popped off--it pops right back on. But they carry it around (both a girl and a boy) and dance every day with this player. Adorable.

We got it as a gift 2 years ago. Can't tell you how many times it's been dropped but it still works! My kids love having dance parties with it.

My daughter loves princess and loves everything along within that theme. She really wanted the little music player and loves it. It is very simple to use and she enjoys listening to the princess music.

I'VE BOUGHT THE CD PLAYER SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS FOR MY NIECES THEY ALL LOVE IT, I HAVE BOUGHT WHEN THEY WERE 2 OR 3 YEARS OLD I HAVE 2 more to buy for one is 3 months old the 1 year old, LOVE IT AS MUCH AS THEY DO.
