The old David Taylor stretch jeans was probably one of the best jeans on the market. As allways some designer thought he or she had a better way of making them. I have to tell you they were wrong big time wrong. The truth be told it was probably the money thay just made them cheaper not better, like puting on less belt loops and some one out there thinks that the back pockets would look better with them in the center so that when you sit down you are setting on you wallet and not what you were suppose to set on. The best is the ajustable elastic waist band GREAT idea but for one thing some one forgot to cover up the front pockets, so when you got them on and you had to much to eat you look more like a Clown than a man in jeans, the white of the pockets shining brightly for all the would to see as you sport around town taking insults from every nut in the world. I long for the old David Taylor that fit right stretched in the right places and held up. I bought the old style jeans for a long time now sadly I am looking into other brands before what I have left comes fully apart and I get even bigger jokes. Would I recommend them to a friend? only if I was trying to get a black eye

It's really comfortable and cool and very strong for the price. Good color also, the fit is very good too. I like the elastic on the hip side, at times I don't have to where or use a belt, depending on the amount of things I have to carry in my pockets. It's great for work thin-cool and strong.

There is no way I can write an original review for these jeans. My words have all been used before. The main complaint in ALL of these reviews is that David Taylor fixed something that absolutely WAS NOT BROKEN and they did a LOUSY job.

Wake up, read the reviews, smell the coffee....whatever but give us back what worked for us or you will end up with warehouses of unsold jeans.

Raise the price if that is what it takes to use the quality materials of the past but don't lower the quality and goodness of design. to make the profit. That never works and this seems to be a classic example of that.

I used to get David Taylor stretch denim pants at my local Sears store. But I have not found them in stock lately. There are other David Taylor denim pants in stock but I do not like them as well as the originals. I liked the flared cuff and slight stretch in the waist and legs.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY AND FEEL OF THE JEANS THAT I PURCHASED FOR MY HUSBAND. THESE WERE HIS FAVORITE BRAND OF JEANS. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WERE NO LONGER IN THE STORE. WHEN THE CLERK SAID THEY COULD BE ORDERED, I ORDERED 2 PAIR RIGHT AWAY. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD STYLE AND FEEL.

David Taylor Stretch Denim Jeans used to be wonderful, and now stink! Furthermore, you need to change the online illustration, which is of the old, wonderful jeans, and bears little resemblance to the actual product. This is a VERY BAD change, and you are driving away customers, as noted by the number of bad reviews.

I used to buy David Taylor Flex Jeans all the time for my husband. They are the only jeans he has ever worn. Now I can't find them. Sears has a new jean that is supposed to be a replacement, I guess, (David Taylor Stretch Jeans) and they suck. The old flex jeans had a permanent crease and had a great fit. These new things don't fit right and lost their crease after one wash. Why can't people leave a good thing alone. I want the original Flex Jeans back. I will never buy the new jeans again. I am now shopping anywhere and everywhere to find a pair of jeans my husband will wear. If anyone knows where I can find a flex jean like the original David Taylor Flex Jeans, please post on here.

David Taylor stretch jeans were the best. They were a good fabric and really worked well for the man that has to move a lot in his job and need that bit of stretch.. You had a good thing , why did you change it into these terribly made jeans. Nancy

The pants that have replaced the David Taylor stretch denims are not any way as nice as the product they used to sell. The fabric quality is poor and the back has an weird looking elastic - it's not what's pictured on line - or at least what I received isn't. Also I was told in the store that the David Taylor stretch jean they used to sell are no longer available and have been replaced by these. At least they could update the web site with a current picture of what they are selling now. Not a good looking product - poor quality fabric AND design. Disappointed! Hope they bring back the original product!

I have purchased DavidTaylor Flexall jeans for many years, but will not any more. I believe the quality of the material has been changed. The crease would remain sharp through at least one wash, but no longer. When worn after the first wash and press, the crease almost was gone in a few hours. The material itself seems to have a very soft finish, compared to my older jeans. The new trousers look baggy. Too bad I'll miss them.

my grandfather wore these jeans and i have worn them for about 20 years. they used to be called "sears jeans" then they changed the name to david taylor flex jeans. i didn't care because they were still the cheapest, most comfortable, best looking jeans i've seen/ worn. when i last ordered them online i got 3 pairs(i always order a few because you never know when they'll be available). unfortunately sears has changed the country/ factory where the jeans are made and the sizing has completely changed +the quality has suffered. as hard as sears has made it to order these jeans i've always managed to find them and wear them. in order to cut pennies off the cost of manufacturing sears has finally ruined my favorite jeans

I have been wearing these light blue David Taylor flex Jeans for years. They are comfortable, look good and maintain a crease. I have gone to several stores in the Boston area, but could not find my 34 x 29 size. It is not available ONLINE either. I quess I will have to go elsewhere.

I work as a painter and bend, crouch, lean and twist all day. These jeans are the PERFECT work jeans as they flex with your movement. It is incredible that these are so hard to find and I hope that the 32 waist jeans that I ordered online actually fit. Some people actually think that I iron my paint jeans as the crease is pretty permanent!

Both my husband and I have been wearing these pants for yesrs now. They always look great no matter what you do to them. There is only one thing wrong with them. That is - YOU CAN NEVER FIND THEM. They are always out of stock. I just ordered two pair for my husband and two for me. We have warn the same size now for years - but these didn't fit. The hips and legs were the same but the waist was to small. what happened to them? Does anybody know how to get in touch with David Taylor? This is a great jean - but the sizing is wrong and you can never find them. Help !!!!!!!

I have worn Flexjeans for years - sioze 38/30. Even though my old ones still fit, when I go to buy new ones, the 38 inch waste is too small and the 40 inch waste is too big in the hips. Has the cut changed or is it me?

Bought one pair of the 34 x 32 jeans from Sears store a few weeks ago because they had just one in my size. Best jeans that I have ever worn. Fit very well and are very comfortable. Wanted to get several other pairs of the black jeans to wear as part of uniform for work. I have been to several Sears stores and even tried to order them from the Sears website, and the website even states that there are none in stock. It appears from all the reveiws, if they could stock them they would sell alot more of them. Guess I will have to go buy the black stretch Wranglers from the local Western wear store instead.

I have been wearing these jeans for years now. I won't buy anything else. The fit, the comfort and look are much beyond anything else I have ever tried and now I won't wear anything else. I do have trouble finding the right size in the colors I like, I just wish Sears kept a better selection at all times.

Found and wore a pair for about 2 1/2 years. Forgot where I bought them. Bur whenever shopping in any mall and every store was looking, only reference was the 'feel' and 'look' of them. No name or brand to remember. Came across at Sears late last May, my size not available, clerk/supervisor phoned every Sears in Maine, found two pair at another store, and they mailed them in less then two days, free shipping to boot. I am set for life. But now I have the Brand name just in case I need another pair before I kick the bucket

These Flex Jeans are excellent for feel and comfort; but I do have one problem with getting the correct style that I like, plus along with all my other freinds who wear and want them. The style is "Flex Jean" s.t.w. style #041-49113382 or 222142/49113. All the Sears Stores in our area do not seem to stock enough of these type Blue Jeans. I hope more of these type blue jeans are made and restocked in our local stores, as some of my old pairs are wearing out. Thank you and I hope I see those type jeans soon.

These are the only jeans my husband will wear. They look great, and he says that they are the most comfortable jeans he's ever had. I just ordered 2 more pair, and you cant beat the price! They come in more than one color, and they wear extremely well. A great value for your budget.

Only in America? - believe me it's true. Lived in the States for fifteen years and spent the next fifteen years looking for flexjeans in Europe. Simply nothing comes close to Flexjeans. Comfort is great, looks and wear are the best. My only regret is I only took 4 pairs with me. One of them still survives. In the States its very hard to find Flexjeans in the short time I usually have there and stores are poorly stocked.

The Flexjean is my husband's favorite. He wear's 34x29 and it is very hard to find. Whenever we are at a Sear's store we always go by the men's department to see if any are in stock. He likes the darker denim. My only complaint is that the pockets wear out before the pants. Otherwise, they are near perfect.

My husband loves these jeans because of their softness, quality and comfort fit. The only problem is that his size (36x32) is so hard to find. He doesn't wear any other jeans and he likes the rinsed color so we have to travel to several stores to find them.

No other brand comes close to the fit and style of these jeans. They move with you and there's no binding or stiffness. Always look fresh and neat. Just wish they came in a tan color as they used to.

Very good fit and comfort. I stopped wearing Levis and Lee jeans two years ago when I found these. You have to wear them in order to know the comfort. Only problem is my local Sears does not carry many of my size - 38x30 in the regular blujean color. Hope they solve that problem soon as I need to replace 5 pair that are two years old.

I like the product but I can't understand why the inseam stops at 30" on a size 34 waist when I need a 32" inseam. Is there someway to purchase a 34 x 32 pant?
