I didn't know if I would need this but after thinking about it I decided to purchase it anyway and am glad I did. Its great for yourself and if you aren't carrying a baby bag you can use it to hold your baby's bottle or sippy cup. Also, like others mentioned it is great for holding your cellphone or hanging shopping bags if nothing else. I agree with the other reviews about attaching it on the inside, if you don't you will be bumping into things as it sticks out.

Sure, a cup holder isn't a required feature - after all, bugaboo would have just built one on and charged more for it if it were, right? The other argument is that most other strollers have some sort of "organization" tray and/or cupholder available for the adult, and it is a convenient thing to have!Needless to say, it ends up also holding my cell phone and/or shopping bags, but I think it's worth having! Oh, and as the other review points out, be sure to mount it on the inside...you'll see when you get it. :)

Do I NEED a cup holder? Prob not. But I love it. Esp now that my daughter has a sippy cup. Makes it pretty convenient. But please note-make sure to attach it so it is not sticking out. You can attach it so it is facing inward (once you get it you will understand) That way you wont be knocking everything over when you walk by.

I use my cup holder absolutely every time I use the stroller. $25 is a bit pricey for what you are getting, but for a necessity, it is what it is. Actually, I'm looking to purchase another one so my husband or walking partner can have a spot too. :) It will only fit a regular sized cup or bottle, but I don't buy jumbo cups anyway!
