I purchased this as a replacement. Was very easy to set up - I set the code in the back of the opener the same as my spare one. I feel it is a little pricey but overall I am happy with my purchase and it does the job sufficiently.

Very easy set up, ordered it online, but it deemed like it took forever to get it. Could have driven to the store several times. But was worth the wai, it was easy to program and actually came with the battery.

I had to buy this remote in order to sync my garage door opener with my vehicle. Although I no longer need the remote, it was very easy to sync with the opener and then to use to sync with my vehicle. Great product.

I lost my remote where I don't know, went to Sears and guess what there it was, I am so happy, This remote is easy to use, easy to sync, and you don't need a college degree to sync it. Simplistic and just the right price. You can always count on Sears, the place, the right price and the right product! Yeaaaa!

I recommend picking up this device if you are in need of a new remote. The programming of the buttons to the garage opener could not be simpler. There was no need to look up instructions or anything. All you do is follow the instructions provided in the box and set up is complete. Literally a 2 minute job to keep you on track and available for any other projects needed during you day.

The sears associates were very helpful in working with us to get the right remote. They went out of their way to make sure we got the right remote. Unfortunately, we we were not able to sync up the remote with the motor. So we will have to call the garage people.

If you have an older Garage door opener, this is probably the type/style of opener you want. No frills, no key chain attachments etc. Just opens the door everytime and clips to your visor. Immediately recognized by overhead opener when synced. If this matches your series of garage door, you wont be disapointed. I recommend highly.

This was a replacement. The original, about 20 ywars old, did not open the door when the button was pushed. It was not the battery. Although this was a larger size than the original, it fits on the sun visor of my 2-seater very well. Since tihs was a store pickup of an on-line buy, I could have just as easily gone to the store and picked it off the shelf.

Easy to set up. I used to have one of those big old bulky remote openers so I bought a craftsman universal remote and hooked it to my door opener. and plugged the universal control into an outlet . Don't really think it's necessary for this thing to have three buttons. You only need one button to open a door. Give me a break.

Works with our old ('93) Craftsman door opener with the GREEN learn button (located on the back). Easy to setup, push and release the green button, then push the remote button until the Front Light flashes and thats it.

The door opener was very easy to use. All you have to do is match up the current code on your old one to the new one and it worked on the 1st try. Great deal for the price ordered it online and it was in store for pick-up within a few hours.

Received it and had to cut open the plastic containers to get at the remotes. If you have arthritus in the hands in will never open them. None of them worked with my Craftsman Receiver. Took them back.

I have a 1/2 HP Craftsman Garage Door Opener and this did NOT work. The previous remote is not available now but is the rounder style buttons and layout. I guess I'll have to try the more expensive $45 remote, I hate having to purchase a part for 1/3 of the whole unit cost. What a rip off!

The web page said that this unit works with all Craftsman Garage Door Units since 1993. This is not true. I have a 139.53975SRT and according to the Sears part department you need a 139.53681 remote and not this one. Sears has a good return policy, but there phone system could use some improvements, in that it took an hour to trace down this answer.
